Love my new dutch oven. I wanted a short but wide pot for browning meat, ground beef, etc. when making stew, goulash, chili… It also needed to work for boiling and then mashing potatoes. The new ceramic dutch ovens are very pretty (and more expensive), and I was concerned that mashing potatoes would eventually damage the ceramic interior. So lucky to find this pot that looks similar to the ceramic ones from the outside but is stainless steel on the inside. It’s been very versatile and is easy to clean.

Just after a month of occasional use (mostly for preparing soup), the coating on the bottom (inside the pot) has peeled off in multiple places. And, as you may expect, the return window closed just couple days before that. Unacceptable quality for the expensive pot, and for Cuisinart.
