   Kids are addicted to making “grilled cheese” on this! The plates are hard to clean, however, especially when the cheese seeks out of the bread and onto the edges of the plates. I can’t quite get them clean.

   I would give this a four star, I made 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and a pizza sandwich and all three were very good. I cannot give it a 5 star because the heat is slightly uneven as seen in the photos, but they tasted good all the same! I would recommend getting this product based on my one time use, will post an update again after a few more tries to make sure it continues working well.

   I just opened this and made my first sandwich. This being brand new, anything bad could happen after posting, but I gotta tell you, great grilled cheese! Downside: It could have an on/off switch or at the very least a “ding” letting you know when your sandwich is done. Obviously, the downside is not having either, forcing you to stand around and wait for a Green light to change from Red, telling you it’s time to get your sandwich. Since you don’t have that on/off switch, you have to plug it in while “On”. Not the safest way to turn something on/off. (Who designed this?) Bottom line, if you don’t mind standing and waiting and possibly shocked, I don’t think you can make a better grilled cheese. For the price, it’s fine.

   I bought one of these to replace my 10 year-old one by the same brand. It’s changed, and not for the better. The press plates are shallower. We’ve been using this pretty much exclusively for quick breakfast sandwiches. Same exact bread, scrambled egg, ham and single cheese slice combo for years and years. The old one was messy. Cheese melted out the sides a bit, kinda a pain to clean. Until finally I couldn’t clean it anymore, decided it’d lived a good life and got a new one. This is SO much worse! The cheese melts out every direction and down onto the counter. I doubt there’s any left in the sandwich by the time it’s done. There are more nooks and crannies it gets in now, too. There’s no “wall” between the plates and the power coil, so that gets cheesed, too. Another example of bad redesigning. Now it takes me longer to clean up after making breakfast sandwiches than it did to make them. Even using cooking spray requires you to use a scraper to get all the outside non-cook surfaces. The pics are from it’s THIRD use and after using cooking spray. It gets even worse than that, but you can see the cheese just pouring out.

   Product works just as it should. Don’t expect to stuff a ton of ingredients into your sandwich, the grill isn’t built for huge sandwiches. It’s mainly for grilled cheese, pizza sandwich, etc. (Thin sandwiches) seller shipped it quickly and it arrived in perfect condition. There is no need to remove the plates to clean them because they wipe clean very easily using a paper towel (don’t use a damp one unless the plates have cooled down) My sister bought this for me to replace my old one because she ruined it. This one is way better than the one I had before!

   On first time use it was giving off plasticky smoke, same thing happened the second time…….the plates are not deep enough to have a good stuffing…….size of the plate is too small for sandwich sized bread slice n too big for regular sized bread slice as available here at my place

   was late by a day to return it as the window closed within 17 day of delivery which was not highlighted, so am left with a sandwich maker with size which is neither big nor deep n is smoking toxic fumes that i am afraid to use anymore

   Makes absolutely just delicious sandwiches. Use it for pizza pockets is especially delicious. I find up the sandwiches a little thick it’s kind of hard to squeeze shut. But once it’s shut it takes no time to make the sandwich
