   Perfect solution. I did a lot of research on this. I needed something to whip up daily smoothies in a 16 oz glass and be easy to clean. I also wanted reliability and ease of use. This is it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and does a great job. There is nothing wrong with the safety next to the power button. (Some reviews say it is awkward).    So far, very pleased. Sturdy feel works like a champ. I have been wanting one for some time. I had bought another brand but it didnt work. This works. This has been a great addition to my kitchen so far. The unlock and power button need to be pressed at same time. So place in hand with buttons facing away from you. Line up your fingers to be able to press both. This will get it powered up. Once going, you can release the lock button, but dont have to. Just know that if you stop, you will have to start that over again. Pretty sure this is the norm. Attachments are easy on/easy off, easy clean. Have yet to use the whisk, but can say that both the immersion attachment and the Chopper does a great job. This tool is something I have been missing in my life. I love not having to get out my big heavy noisy blenders all the time, especially for small jobs. What a game changer.

   I’ve used submersion blenders in the past and needed a new one because I wore out the old one. This one is a bit of a disappointment due to design. The double buttons that you press to start it are difficult to press. You must really press hard to get it started. I have long nails and I have to press it with my finger nails not my finger tips. Plus the base of the chopper has three little rubber tabs on it where still slides around on the counter and makes it unstable and wobbly. The entire bottom should have a rubber base for stability. All the working parts work well but these things I mentioned makes it cumbersome.

   I was looking for one of these to try different things, and this one has held up really well. I’ve had it for a few months now and no issues at all. It feels like good quality and is super easy to use. The only thing I didn’t love is that you have to press both buttons to turn it on—but aside from that, I’ve made several recipes and everything has gone smoothly. Definitely worth buying this one with a bit more “cost” instead of going for a cheaper one that might break after a few months.

    This year Canning tomato sauce I finally broke down to get the immersion blender because it was a pain too blend tomatoes in the blender. You could only blend so much at a time and transferring it from pot to pot as it got blended was also a mess.     Bought this as a gift for my daughter because I enjoy my own. I use it frequently for sauces and soups. I throw together a quick spaghetti sauce and purée it before serving. The whisk feature is great for whipped cream. I’ve used the small processor to chop onions and herbs. Great for smoothies. Just a really useful kitchen tool.

    Quality you expect from cuisinart. The lock feature did not exist on my previous one. It’s a little annoying but I can adjust to this safety measure? It’s a great deal for all the functions, without all the bulky heavy equipment.

    Very quiet compared to my previous one. Seems potent and effective. The downside is that the mixer bowl could be bigger. It’s on the smaller size but it’s able to deal with most preparations. I also don’t like that the blade on the bowl gets loose (it’s like a small round attachment, not a full piece). You must be extra careful when cleaning and storing it. But would definitely buy again for the low level of noise compared to other ones and the safety lock.

    I love this hand blender. It’s just what I needed. Enough power to make creamy smoothies and shakes in a short time, and doesn’t splash up. I’ll try it with cream soups at a later date, but for now this is perfect. It’s an attractive, sturdy hand blender. And I’m thrilled I could get it in white without paying a premium price, like some manufacturers charge. I’m shocked at how long the cord is, but am not complaining. One day the extra length may come in handy. Oh, and compared to some hand blenders it’s quiet. My neighbours won’t be hearing this one.

    In the words of my friend Lois “Smarter not harder.” She couldn’t believe I did not have an immersion hand blender. I mean she’s tried to convince me for years that they are the best thing since sliced bread. I didn’t want another appliance to try and store in my cupboard. She said they didn’t take up much space. Well, let’s just say now I’m asking myself why I waited so long! I blended it all in my crock pot! I’m not transferring hot liquid into my enormous standup blender, I’m not dirtying more dishes and containers, and my chicken chili is the perfect consistency. Needless to say the quality of this Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Soeed Hand Blender is amazing. Easy to clean. Fast and efficient. Directions are well written. Oh, I already cleared the cupboard space to store it, front and center! If you don’t have one, go get it.
