My old faithful mixer finally gave it up. First replacement was a Kitchen Aid. Highest speed wasn’t good enough to whip cream. Donated it. Second replacement was Hamilton Beach. Same problem…same solution…donation.
This mid-priced Cuisinart’s 7-speed does well. Good with whipping cream and mixing cookie dough. I’m keeping it.

Preferable to my old KitchenAid. It is less noisy! The power levels have met all of my needs for various thicknesses as well as whipping cream. Although I have a heavy duty stand mixer, I will grab the hand mixer as my first choice for everyday baking.

Smooth and relatively quiet. Great feel in hand, weight is perfect. Love that the beater release lever is on underside of handle and not on the top near speed adjuster and that the electrical connection pivots to better keep the cord out of the way.

the durability level is great, the attachments work real well, the design is good, and the size is nice, don’t mix really thick stuff after a year of using, that’s what broke my last one. But while it is new, the mixing ability is great! color is fresh.
