   DEFECTIVE ITEM

   There was a question about buying filters for the lid from a customer. I don’t know that. I can’t see a reason for a lid filter, however, I returned my item because it never heated. I left it plugged in for at least an hour. The oil never changed from when I put it in the container.

   Great little fryer – we use it for brussels sprouts, broccoli, chicken wings. We do have to do several batches sometimes (we’ve only done 6 wings at a time) but are willing to do those multiple batches because the size of the fryer is compact & easy to store away. Doesn’t use too much oil – we use the oil 2 or 3 times before changing it out, not extremely easy to clean but not too bad either. We dump the used oil out and then wipe the inside clean before filling with new oil. The basket it comes with is great & the fryer has a lip to hold the basket above the oil too. Would recommend!

   I thought this would be a perfect size for my husband and I. Also, it is easy to clean. The only problem is is that it fails to reach over around 325 degrees.
