Easy to use and certainly makes good coffee.
Would have give 5 stars but, put the lid on and taking if off is difficult and concerning.
The lid does not flip off and on…but snaps on only with pressure. I wonder if using that pressure will one day break off the tabs that hold the lid on the pot?

I’m sending this back because it will not fit under my counter. The cuisinartoutlets.com WEBSITE states it is 12 inches in height. If it was It would fit. Since I’m returning this coffee maker G Dreamer the seller wants to charge me 15% for a restocking fee and I have to pay for shipping it back! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

I had a Braun previously, which was very good as well. I’d rate them the same as far as ease of use and quality of the brew. Slight advantage to the Cusinart for the easy to read buttons. The only negative is that the Carafe does not have a flippable lid. You need to pop the top off to clean and fill it with water. Seems like that little plastic tab holding the lid in place will eventually wear out and not keep the lid on.
