   My kitchen is pretty dang tiny. The only space I had open was over a window and the 33″ bar style rack ended up fitting *chef’s kiss* perfectly. I was a little worried that hanging the pots up might accidentally cause me to break the window, but I’ve had it 10 years now and it just hasn’t happened. Of course, be gentle if you’re in the same situation as me!).

   This pot rack is well worth the cost. It is very sturdy and can hold many pots and pans. I got this pot rack to solve the problem of searching for pots and pans in the kitchen cabinets. Now everything is out in the open and easy to reach. The pot rack mounts easily on your wall using the included hardware. Just make sure you locate the studs in your wall before drilling holes since you need to have at least 2 of the 3 mounting screws attached to a stud. After adding some pots and pans to the pot rack, it becomes a nice display on your kitchen wall. I’m quite pleased with this product.

   I purchased another wall mounted pot rack and was so disappointed in the quality. From the flimsy rim, poor design, and worst of all, drywall anchors! These racks are meant to hold pots, dishes, or other heavy items, and never should be mounted into drywall. But besides that, the design on this rack is sturdy (thick rim, quality hooks, proper bolts and nuts, and it’s hard to find another rack with these dimensions) and made so that installation can be done safely without having to hack your way into leveling it off, screw it in, and feel confident it won’t fall off the wall one day. It is more expensive, but well worth it. I installed another version of this rack (oil-rubbed bronze, same model) in 2012, and it’s still going strong! It’s worth paying a little more for this rack.

   I love this rack. I have more than a dozen pans including some heavy large cast iron skillets on it, and it stands up like a champ. Great way to store pots and pans that are frequently used.

   This rack fit perfectly over our kitchen window and opened up a ton of cabinet space. It is attractive and sturdy! I was able to line it up with the standard studs as one other reviewer suggested (the bolts are 16 inches apart). Our window had a third stud that lined up with the support arm, so I opted for the wood installation and didn’t need the drywall anchor. I would say the install takes a moderate degree of handiness. I am self taught from YouTube videos and this took me about an hour. You will need a stud finder, power drill and a socket wrench to install.

   I love the look of this rack. The oil rubbed bronze looks great with my stainless cookware Cuisinart MCP-12 MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set. I do highly recommend this rack, but a couple of things brought my review down to four stars. 1. The directions don’t give any measurements to help you decide where to drill holes. The holes in the rack itself are on 32″ centers. that makes sense since this rack must be attached directly to studs. However, there is no indication of the distance between the holes in the racks and the holes in the angled braces. I suppose I could have used trig to calculate it, but the measurement of the hypotenuse would have been tough to make accurate. I tried using a straight edge with the braces attached before I put it on the wall. My measurement came up about an inch short. In the end, I attached the two lag bolts to the main rack, put a level across the rack, and drilled pilot holes for the braces through the holes in the braces while keeping the rack level to the floor. Luckily the braces cover the wrong holes. 2. Look at the picture of the rack, specifically the way the grid shelf lies. The rack is about two inches “thick.” If you follow the directions, the grid is at the bottom of the rack. I really wanted the rack for pots and lids, but it would be very hard to use this space with a two inch lip all the way around. I decided to mount the rack upside down ao the grid was almost flush with the top. Now I can easily put pots and lids on top. I’ll post a photo. Installation: This is not a job for one person. You need a second hand to hold things. That said, I installed it myself. Even with the extra pilot holes described in 1 above, the total install time was about 45 minutes. Most of that was due to my obsessive remeasuring and level checking. Also, I couldn’t find my rachets or a box end wrench that fit, so I used a Robo-grip adjustsable wrench. Wrong tool, but it worked.

   Awesome rack! I just ordered a second one. I am currently hanging 4 cast iron Le creuset pieces on it and it’s perfect. Very strong. Centerline of the screw holes are 32″ so it’s made to match up with typical household stud spacing. You will need an impact driver or 10mm socket to get those bolts into the studs. Very easy with my impact, very hard without one so plan on that. The only modification I’ll be making is I will slip some clear tubing over the hooks so I don’t have any metal rubbing on the enameled handles. Also I’ll split a piece of clear tubing and slip it over the edge where I have a pot lid sitting, again so I don’t get any enamel damage.

    I have recently mounted this in my “La Petite” 50’s kitchen and I Love it! I actually purchased this two years ago but it was never mounted when I realized that the site I had decided upon did not have studs to mount it on. It was forgotten in storage until recently when I re-discovered it while cleaning. It was not hard to hang this one piece bar. The most time consuming part of the task was actually finding a good spot with studs. It is currently hung over the window of my kitchen sink and is holding 6 pots of various sizes, a 14 inch grand griddle, 5 mixing bowels, 3 various sized fry pans, a steamer, a wok, and collender. All of these items are made from stainless steel and/ or copper are VERY HEAVY. There is also a wooden bread board, drying herbs, and strings of peppers hung up. The rack remains tight to the wall and does not appear strained in any way. The rack is a heavy gauge stainless steel with a brushed finish and should really last a lifetime. The price was good at less than a third of many of the racks that I looked at. I purchased the Cuisinart brushed stainless steel pot rack hooks #CRUH-6 to use with the rack. They are the perfect size and weight and hold the pans at an angle so that more items will fit on the rack. The original 4 hooks which came with the rack were lost so I cannot comment on them. However, 4 would never have been enough anyway. This simple bar pot rack has done wonders for my kitchen! Besides freeing up much needed space it fits perfectly in the little space that I have. I no longer need to store pots in my stove due to lack of space. I can immediately hang up my pots and pans after washing as well so a dish drainer is not needed. It is a visual centerpiece which has breathed life into a less than ideal kitchen! Highly recommended! Update Oct 2017: Still love the pot rack. I have purchased new pots and pans and everything fits really well. Mounted near the ceiling over the sink it is not in the way, provides much needed storage for pots, pans, utinsils, bread boards, and mixing boards and adds a lot of visual warmth. Great for a small kitchen, you just can’t go wrong with this.

    Los sartenes toman mucho espacio en la cocina, pero esto ayuda a optimizar el espacio, que se escurran y de rápido acceso cuando se va a cocinar. Lo mejor es que los tornillos de montaje son de uso rudo, todo es de acero inoxidable y la estructura en general es muy robusta. Se recomienda tener a la mano un roto martillo y/o un taladro de impacto para fijar bien todas las anclas incluidas.
