I was looking for a stock pot that was between my largest sauce pot and the larger stock pot we already had. This is the perfect size to keep in our cabinet and use every day. It’s only the two of us and this is great to use for everything from smaller amounts of soup to noodles to stews and beyond. The bottom is good and heavy so you run little risk of burning anything and having it stick to the bottom. Great purchase, super happy with it!

Great, durable pot. Very well constructed and the perfect size for cooking pasta.

Good but not as good as the ones I already had. After washing and drying it, there’re always spots on the bottom inside. I’m not as happy as I was when I found a Cuisinart on this size. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could.

I have had a chance to use the pot a few times now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I am just a home cook, but I have been so for many years now and I generally know what I’m doing. While I could have spent many times the price of the Cuisinart, I do not think I would have gained much advantage by doing so unless it was accompanied with a better cook. The pot has a nice heavy layered bottom which is helpful in not scorching momentarily ignored foods. That was my main criteria for selecting the Cuisinart. My second desire was large grip-able handles that are easy to use safely.
I have made “meaty” soups and a couple sauces and the pot has not failed me and I expect it to last until someone inherits it from me.

I Bought this May 6, 2018, and use it about once a week, I love this Stockpot. It still looks like new. The bottom is still flat as it should be. I would buy again or give as a gift. I would also recommend this to others. I will post more if needed.
Update: I have been using this since May and so far it is my favorite pan. I love the quality and the way it heats up and cleans up, it still looks like it did the first time I used it.
My wife was complaining about a high pitch screeching noise, which only some people can hear, if I warm the pot up slowly it doesn’t make the noise.
Update…I still love the pot but the lid makes noises like it is popping and cracking, warming up or cooling off. I can not get the company to answer any of my questions, they won’t respond. I hope you have better luck than me.
