   Our daughter has this model toaster. We liked it and so we bought one too. Hers looks identical but she got hers about ten years before we did and hers is better made than ours. Its springs are firmer and its knobs turn more smoothly. Ours feels a bit flimsy and cheap by comparison. The knobs are loose and the spring mechanisms have a slight jiggle too. But we’ve had it for four years now and it hasn’t broken, so I’m giving it four stars but deducting one star on the expectation that her toaster will probably outlast ours.

   I was a bit in the fence about buying this toaster at first. My family does eat a lot of bread and with a full house, a 2 slice toaster at some point no longer works. I like Cuisinart and have a few kitchen items at home that we use on a frequent basis which led me to purchase this 4 slice toaster. The retro old school look was a definite plus and a nice addition to our kitchen. It’s so convenient for starters and the ability to put bagels is such a game changer. The defrost button works beautifully and toasts the bread nice and evenly. The lever is so soft to press and you don’t need to force and apply any pressure. The brush stainless steel is such a nice look. It’s nostalgic to say the least and I kinda enjoy seeing and having Companies invest in these timeless classics. I just pray it’s as good as when I grew up. Amazing toaster overall.

   While it’s just a toaster, it’s a very nice one. I bought it for the retro look, and because it matches my other stainless steel appliances, and it looks quite nice left on the ccountertop.
   The bread slice holes could be a smidge wider to accommodate hamburger buns, but otherwise it’s perfect.
   The toaster is solid! It’s a nice weight, it feels like a higher quality appliance as compared to the cheaper toasters I’ve had, and I like that the rubber feet really do their job; this toaster won’t slide around. It’s got multiple settings (bagel, defrost, reheat) and the one for bagels toasts more slowly so the outside of your bagel won’t burn before it gets warmed. The reheat feature works similarly. A cancel button if you need it will pop your bread up, and the darkness knobs are very sensitive. Whatever your toast color preference, you can get it with this toaster.
   Finally, the clean out for this toaster is a breeze with slide out trays (see photo) that come all the way out with no bothersome clips to fuss with, and can be cleaned. All in all, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

   This toaster lasted 10 months. One of the elements came loose and fell into the bottom, and of course the return period has passed. I have ordered another of the same in case this was a fluke, because its an attractive toaster and otherwise worked well. Plus the price fell $20 since my last order.

    Fait de belles toats grillées égalent des 2 côtés. Je n’avais pas remarqué à quelle point mon ancien grille-pain ne grillait pas uniforme. C’est quand même un grille-pain de base, n’indique pas le temps de cuisson restant et est manuel (il faut peser un peu plus fort rendu en bas pour qu’il clanche, c’est son seul défaut), le design est ordinaire (il n’est pas wow), je l’ai acheté car il revenait souvent dans le top 5 des meilleurs grille-pains selon différentes études et en l’utilisant, on comprend pourquoi il est bien quoté. Il fait sa job de grille-pain et selon moi il va être plus durable que les grille-pains dispendieux ou électroniques. Je recommande.
