   My friend’s mom has this set and I knew I wanted my own the second I used hers. The main chef’s knife is heavy, balanced, and comfortable, as are the the Santoku knife and the slicing knife. They come extremely sharp out of the box, and the grind tells me that future whetstone sharpenings will be a breeze. My only complaint about this set is that the shears and the steak knives feel cheap. Wish they would have used the same full tang construction for the steak knives that they used for the rest of the set.

   The knives that matter are well-made. I’d pay $80 just for the three I mentioned in the first paragraph. Don’t hesitate. Buy this set.

   Tengo mi cafetera que tiene molino integrado y ya tiene tiempo que la compre y sigue como nueva! Por lo que decidí comprar este set de cuchillos.
   La calidad es muy buena, el acabado también, se ve de buen acero y vienen súper afilados! el método de empaque esta genial con protección de plástico en la punta y fundas de cartón. Lo único que no me gusto tanto, es que la empuñadura es de plástico (negro) y yo hubiera preferido de madera pero no se ven nada mal!

   DOSE NOT LAST! Steak knives fall apart after a couple months due to poor quality plastic & no tang, even though they’re made to look like full tang FAKE! The plastic is just bad even the chef’s knife and santoku knife handles are cracking. The only reason I’m righting this review is because these are popular knives and there rated 4.7 stars witch is very misleading making buyers think they’re good quality, when in reality there basically only usable a couple times before they start to fall apart (Disposable) which is not what there marketed as with a “lifetime warranty” Instills a false sense of quality witch these knives do NOT have! That said when they’re new they work well and are ergonomic, but I only recommend them if you only plan to use them a couple time!

   Decent set for the price. The block looks nice, and the prep knives all have full tangs. The steak knives feel very cheap. We cut one in half; the rivets are real but the knife handle is pure plastic (not full tang). We’re keeping the block and prep knives but have purchased a separate set of steak knives and will most likely throw these steak knives away.

    Cuisinart is not a brand to trust. When you buy this set of triple rivets knives you probably think that the metal core continues from the blade through the plastic handle and the 3 rivets are used to hold it all together. NO YOU ARE WRONG. The blade is only attached to the first rivet and breaks easily. The other rivets is just a decoration. When you cut something more or less hard the blade breaks out of the handle. Very cheap an deceptive design. My wife liked the cuisinart brand and was very disappointment when a relatively new set started breaking. So I went as far as cut the handle of an already broken knife to show how cuisinart is “cutting corners” with their knives. See the pictures: 1 – a good knife, 2 – the broken blade after cutting some aged cheese. 3. I sawed the handle to show that the blade inside does not extends to the second rivet. 4. The handle is just plastic inside. Also the knives get dull very fast and you can see that the blade metal extension is all rusted.

    Nice looking knives. They are solid and feel really nice in the hand and stay sharp. The most commonly used knives I’ve re-done the edge with the provided sharpener and it works great. Steak knives don’t feel incredibly sturdy like the rest of the set but do a great job cutting through meats

    These are fantastic! I got them for my wife for Christmas and am very pleased with quality. I have paid three times the price of these for what was said to be professional grade only to be dissappointed.
