I have a 7-year-old Cuisinart immersion blender which worked perfectly one day & th next time I went to make pesto it didn’t work.
Th metal end would not fit into th motor portion.

The plastic on the original blender shaft, around the top edge, cracked on about the third use. I didn’t use it much after that. I don’t remember how long I’ve had this stick blender. Mostly I was using the chopper. I finally got around to ordering the replacement and have now used it more than the original. It fits well and there’s not much difference in the two blender shafts. Our household is quite pleased with the replacement.
