   I like this item overall for use on my gas range. Easy to clean, large enough for a breakfast for four to cook all at once. But it doesn’t distribute heat very well on my particular range, which is 36 inches and six burners. A lot of the heat ends up going to the handles, and there’s a gap between the burners that stays too cool. But if your burners are slightly closer together, it may work great.

   Bought Cuisinart frying pan several years ago and it did not hold up. So I decided I wouldn’t take a chance on Cuisinart again. When I saw this griddle I decided to take the chance. Will NOT do that again. It warped!
   It has a bit of a lean toward the outside for draining grease, but that is on purpose. After several uses, it warped which made it entirely useless for eggs, pancakes and anything liquid. I didn’t overheat it or leave it unattended.

   This fits my Wolf gas cooktop perfectly. I wanted a nonstick griddle that spans two burners for times that we have many mouths to feed for breakfast. For lots of grandkids that eat lots of pancakes and french toast, this is perfect. Even heat distributions makes for evenly cooked food. Just give the griddle adequate time to heat up thoroughly, and you will enjoy the results. Cleanup is a breeze, and its light weight makes it easy to put away until next time. The price is reasonable for a high quality product.

   After 15 months, this griddle is dramatically warped. The nonstick surface is excellent. The channel around the outside means you can’t use this griddle to fry eggs or other more liquid things because everything just runs into the channel.

   This is, by far, my new favorite piece of cookware! This Cuisinart griddle is a dream! While not as heavy as cast iron, it’s obviously quality material and construction. The griddle heats evenly so there isn’t any portions partially cooked. It cools quickly, and easily cleaned. I like to prepare make-ahead breakfasts. I can now whip up double the amount of pancakes in far less time. Today, I fried 36 pancakes in less than 30 minutes. In the past, it would take an hour to make half that amount in a skillet. I’ve e also used to to prepare multiple quesadillas. Previously, in my largest skillet, I could only prepare two at a time. Now I can make 4-6 at once. When I purchased a new stove a few years ago, it came with a cast iron griddle. However, it’s heavy, cumbersome, and difficult to clean. Plus, I have to wait a long time for it to fully cool in order to clean it.

    I bought this for my husband, as it’s his dream to have a flat-top grill/hibachi grill. Couldn’t quite swing a full grill for him, but this gets the job done. We use this for all kinds of things, from french toast to steak! Love that it can go in the oven, too. Super easy to clean, it’s nice and big so it’s great for cooking larger amounts of food or things that need a wide surface area. It does seem to have a hot spot in the middle, but it’s not too bad and we just adjust our cooking to accommodate it. Great purchase, would buy again

    I used this on an induction stove and this began warping after the second use on medium heat . The design is also weird since the indents all around on the side reduce the cooking area by a lot . Once this warped , everything started to slide to the side . The cheaper 20$ ones available here have last lasted longer than this one .

    I thought, being a Cuisinant, that this griddle would be a hit; but, it’s a bomb, for me. I’ve included a picture to show uneven the heat distribution is. Whatever, you’re griddling has to be in the center or it takes a long time to brown. Also, scrambling eggs on it is near impossible because it runs off into the drip edges. I didn’t have any of these issues with my old griddle. Wish I could find that brand again; but, it’s out of production. I do not like this griddle.

    This is really a great pan that I was hesitant to buy it because of all of the reviews of warping. I may be premature, but we haven’t had that issue. We use it about once a week, mostly for pancakes, but I’ve also cooked eggs and flank steak. Heat distribution is great for pancakes and I haven’t had an issue with eggs or batter rolling down the sides. I only use a medium heat setting and hand wash after it’s completely cooled, so fingers crossed thats prevented any warping issues. Considering I was planning on spending three times this for the all clad version at William Sonoma, this is a pretty great deal. Plus if I do have any issues, I’ve had good success with Cuisinarts customer service and there is a limited lifetime warranty on this pan.
