   Excellent heat modulation due to a thick metal base to ease heat transfer between thermostat settings. My old pot was could not evenly heat when the thermostat went between heating and resting of heating cycles, especially important with cheese and chocolate recipes. High quality look and feel and stainless steel is easily cleaned. Liked it so much I bought another to get more people around the table cooking their fondue fare.

   I previously posted that the cord was too short but upon further investigation it is a safety issue so that is why it is a short cord. I used it for a chocolate fondue and it was great! So disregard my review with the short cord, I just picked up an extension cord which customer service said is fine to use as long as the power is greater than the fondue pot cord power. It is very beautiful and looked lovely on my table.

   I am so happy with this fondue pot. I wanted an electric pot that could do cheese, chocolate and oil to cook meat, which this set does. I made the fondue cheese recipe on the stove top first as most recipes recommend, then transfered it to the pre- heated fondue pot. There are 10 heat levels that increase in .5 increments. This allows for precise heat control which is needed. The highest I turned it up was a 2.5, at that heat setting the outside of the pot stayed cool enough to touch which is great so you don’t accidentally burn yourself (prob would get quite hot at warmer settings). The pot is attached to the stand which I really like so it doesn’t slip or move when using and also doesn’t require a hot pad under it. After the cheese was in the pot for 2.5 hours I was not looking forward to scrubbing the cheese out. I was so surprised that the leftover cheese literally slid right out after it cooled. All I had to do was just wash out the oil from the cheese that was left behind, there was absolutely no stuck on cheese. That’s a major bonus imo! I have no regrets with this fondue set.

   Well, I no longer need to go to the melting pot to have fondue. It’s a great little fondue pot very well-made and easy to use. It heats up quickly and has these little holders on the inside for the forks to set. I like that it is stainless steel and there is a dial on the plug so you choose what temperature you want. The chocolate fondue night that we had was amazing. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because what I didn’t like was how it’s not very easy to clean. The plugs on the side are removable, but they’re bulky and it’s difficult to get it clean. I’s a good size so it’s easy to store underneath the counter when you’re not using it. I would recommend this fondue pot. It worked really well for us and I’m excited to use it again.

   I purchased the Cuisinart Electric Fondue Maker to add to our Christmas Eve festivities! The kids wanted a chocolate fountain, but I thought the fondue would be more versatile as we could use it for other dips! The package arrived well wrapped with each piece wrapped inside. There is the main fondue portion, the cord, the 9 fondue forks and the partial lid. I found the unit to be sturdy for it’s purpose. The pot has a Teflon lining to prevent sticking. The heating element plugs in and you can easily adjust to either higher or lower. The cord is somewhat short, but that is definitely a safety measure and all electric appliances have shorter cords. The only glaring flaw was a large scratch right across the front of the unit. I debated returning/exchanging the unit, but was afraid I wouldn’t have the new one in time for Christmas Eve. We decided to keep it as is. Our first trial run was actually by the teens in the house! They began with a chocolate fondue set on number 2. They did amazingly well and we had no burned chocolate at all. I think the idea is to keep the temperature low and slow and not rush the heat time. They chose a variety of items to dip! They cut up strawberries, pound cake, Rice Krispy treats and so on. After watching this, I have decided it would be awesome to have out for teen gatherings! Our next fondue will be a cheese and broth with select proteins! I am excited to try that one! The only reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars is the quality control issue with the scratched unit. Other than that, a solid five stars! I have posted pictures below! Sorry for the disaster on the table, but I wanted to catch the pictures while the fondue maker was in use!

    I’ve used this twice so far. Once for chocolate fondue and another with cheese fondue. I was surprised at just how hot it gets and how quickly it heats.

    The product is useless is India as the voltage is 120v… they don’t provide a converter and the converter is same price as the fondue so no worth it. We proceed with the return of the product, cuisinartoutlets.com pick it up and until know (6 months) they didn’t give refund!

    This fondue pot worked very well for my family’s cheese fondue night. I love how it’s electric and very easy to use, though I would recommend having an extension cord handy because the cord doesn’t stretch very long. It came with skewers and everything I needed, and I loved how you could make the whole recipe right in the pot. The temperature control was also very effective and heated the cheese evenly, and the stainless steel design made it easy to wash. I would fully recommend this pot for a fun family dinner, and I can’t wait to try chocolate next!

    Great little pot for fun family fondue night! This heats up the cheese (we’re still stuck in cheese mode) so quickly! You can do chocolate, meat, all kinds of good stuff in this little beauty.  I gave this to my husband for selfish reasons.  Haha!
