I am going to quote another reviewer who said he gave it four starts because it’s not Le Creuset, but for the price, it’s the next best thing. It’s very heavy, which is not a problem for me, yet, but for someone elderly, it could be. Le Creuset cast iron is somewhat lighter. I like being able to broil foods in cast iron. Pyrex can’t take the heat at those temperatures and I don’t want to use aluminums.
