   The ice maker in our 8 year old Amana refrigerator suddenly stopped working in July-in ARIZONA. It had also occurred another time a couple of years ago, and when I called a local appliance repair company the lady I spoke with gave me some suggestions to get it going again. She said that if nothing worked it would be cheaper to buy ice than have a new ice maker installed, but buying 10# bags of ice didn’t sound like fun. She said that the lifespan of most refrigerators and an ice makers are now about 7-8 years. I appreciated her honesty and over the phone suggestion, and we were able to solve the problem Living in AZ we go through a lot of ice year-round. I never used an ice cube tray before, and after reading numerous cuisinartoutlets.com reviews about other ice cube trays I was completely confused about what to buy. The product appearances, materials and prices greatly varied, as did the reviews. I am grateful to the 6K+ cuisinartoutlets.com customers who reviewed this product. These trays are absolutely perfect, and I cannot think of anything that would improve them. I continually filled all of them until the ice maker bin was full, which took a couple of days. It dispenses the ice exactly the same way as if they were made by the original ice maker. For nearly 2 months I have taken a couple of minutes to empty and refill all the trays into the ice maker bin so that it is always full. This company makes a quality product. With just a slight twist the cubes loosen enough to pop them into the bin. Just as described they neatly stack and don’t stick together. Being made in the US is a bonus, and shows that products made in this country are superior to, say, China, as well as providing US employment. While I normally wouldn’t write a long review about a product for which I paid less than $12.00, I believe KITCH deserves recognition for a well made and very fairly priced product. I highly recommend these ice cube trays, and plan to buy another set for our garage freezer so we are well stocked once we are able to entertain again.

   These are the best trays I’ve ever had the joy of using. They fit a good amount of ice per cube, can stack on a freezer shelf while full, and are easy to twist to release all the cubes at once.

   These things are top notch. They stack, they release easily, and they are large. I had to wait a while to get them, but they are worth the wait. And they are made in the USA!

   We don’t use our ice maker, only use Berkey filter water in trays. We have the same number of these trays and Rubbermaid Easy Release trays stacked up in our freezer. These Kitch trays somehow make clearer ice cubes than my Rubbermaid Easy Release trays. It’s so weird, but the cubes from these trays are stunningly clear and beautiful. These Kitch trays often release ice cubes that have cracked pieces, so they’re rarely perfectly shaped and there are often ice chips left in the tray. But the size and shape are good, and having nearly clear cubes makes it feel cleaner somehow. If my Rubbermaid trays ever give out, I would happily replace them with more of these trays.

   I am not one that posts many reviews but I had to take a moment to post this. My old trays were horrible. The cubes would crumble and leave tiny bits all over. I kept them entirely too long because I didn’t realize there was better. I searched online and found these and I’m shocked at how much of a difference it is. My ice cubes come out whole and no bits left in the trays anymore. I immediately tossed the old ones out. Never going back to that mess again. I would gladly pay more knowing the quality of these trays, although I probably wouldn’t have tried them in the first place if they were overpriced. Anyway, thank you for making a quality product at a great price!

    Ok, so I am a guy who likes ice in his drinks. My fridge ice-cube maker works intermittently and the trays that I had on hand would produce ice that never came out cleanly. It was so frustrating. I spent some time looking online and came up with the Kitch product. I got the four pack and I can tell you that although I don’t know why (they look similar to my other trays), the ice comes out in full cubes every time with just a simple twist. I have been using them for months and they are great. You can’t go wrong with these!

    These are some of the BEST ice trays I’ve ever owned and used. I’m an ice water addict and the trays I had before from the store were thin and cheap and flimsy. Not these at all. These are made very well and aren’t cheap or flimsy at all. They make decent sized ice cubes and are super easy to crack out. I’m kind of an ice snob, don’t really like the small marble sized ice, i prefer large cubes in my water, i feel like they last longer in my tumbler. These trays also stack great and they sit nice and flat. Even full they sit nicely on freezer shelf or in the door. They don’t need lids if you don’t overfill them. I’ve used them a few months now and absolutely love them. I have some other trays as backups just in case but these get filled and used first. May order a few more and keep in the garage fridge.

    During the summer, refrigerators get slower making ice. Plus we are using more because of the heat. And I am not paying 2.50 to 3.50 for a bag of ice. Its not in my budget. These trays are great. One, the frig has more time to make more. And I still get to feel refreshed. This is a good money saver.

    It’s an exact copy of the same Rubbermaid item as per my pic. My old Rubbermaid eventually cracked. Hopefully, this won’t. Good value because you’ll get 4, the Rubbermaid ones are more expensive. I only needed 2, so I’ll keep the other 2 for a while, then give them away. Says Made in the USA.

    I have been on a year long quest to find ice cube trays that I didn’t have to swear at every time I tried to get the ice cubes out. I have gone through all kinds – plastic, all silicone , part silicone ,etc. It was such a struggle to get ice cubes out of any of these. When I saw the glowing reviews for these trays I thought, what do I have to lose? When I got the pack of 4, I only took one out to try thinking I would probably be sending them back anyways. Low and behold, I barely had to twist the tray and ALL of the ice cubes fell out cleanly. Not one got stuck. I was thinking – wow. But maybe I just got lucky. I filled it again and when all were frozen – the same thing. A small twist of the tray and every single cube came out. Who would have thought that an ice cube tray could give me such happiness and joy! LOL. Needless to say I am keeping all 4. Since I just got them, I can’t account for their longevity but they seem well made and much stronger than any of the trays I was buying at all of the local home goods stores to try. I highly recommend these if you are looking for an ice cube tray that actually works.
