   It works for me. I keep it in the basement and store items when there is not enough room in the regular fridge. Also great for extra storage for party food items that need to be kept cold.

   As usual with mini-fridges, the lower back of fridge is exposed. To secure the cooling mechanisms during shipping a styrofoam cube had been inserted, which I removed. There is also a line that is wrapped in styrofoam tubing and secured with zip ties … SHOULD THIS COVERING BE REMOVED TOO or should it remain covered? (see photo) The frige itself is GREAT and home delivery was so convenient. While the lower back corner was slightly dented during shipping (a common occurrence), it’s not really noticeable so it doesn’t bother me. I took off 1-star only because there are no instructions on whether or not to remove the styrofoam covering on the line. Since it “looks” like a possible fire hazard if left on, I cannot use fridge until I find out. Will update review/star rating once I find out.

   Absolutely love this fridge! Works perfectly in my classroom. Freezer is big enough to hold my frozen lunches (doesn’t stay completely frozen, which is fine because I have an early lunch anyway).

   Bought this to refrigerate medication. Was checking the temperature to make sure it was working ok. Seemed to stabilized at around 38 degrees so put the medication in. Went back to check it and it was at 30 degrees. Just praying I got the expensive medication out in time before it was destroyed.
