Please note it takes 12-16 hrs for the bowl to freeze before each use! Lol I did not read that part was a bit sad to have to wait, but totally my fault :p I plan on purchasing a second bowl to accommodate my needs, but it works perfectly otherwise – ps Greek yogurt seems to freeze faster than traditional cream recipe

I just made my first pint of ice cream with the One Pint Wonder. I started with the basic vanilla provided with the machine and it came out perfect! Can’t wait to try the other flavors and mix ins. The bowl will be staying in the freezer between uses so we can mix up a pint whenever the craving strikes.

This ice cream maker works great, makes ice cream in about 20 minutes but the portion is a bit small. If its for one person, then I think the portion would be just fine but you may have to make several batches if for more than one. I used this often when we first got it and it made really good tasting ice cream, much better than store bought, since I knew what the ingredients were and there were only a couple. As long as any toppings you want to add are broken into small pieces, they will mix in just fine. I keep my base in the freezer for a quick go to when I want something cold and refreshing.

I used my ice cream maker for the first time yesterday to make frozen custard. The manual said it would take about 15 minutes of churning the preparation to achieve the desired consistency. After 35 minutes, it was only a very small layer on the bottom that had achieved the consistency of frozen custard. I like the size of the ice cream maker and it is easy to store and operate. I will be trying this recipe -or another- again at some time when I can allow it to churn for a longer period of time.

Didn’t turn out well for the first try. Second try was good. Don’t put too much vanilla in it; it’s alcohol. Perfect size for 2-4 people after dinner dessert.

The size is wanted I wanted: compact and doesn’t use up a lot of counterspace
However, the plastic ‘stir’ stick doesn’t stay on, once I tried to lock the lid it would fall off.
Had to return it.

Do not buy this trash…
I never write reviews, this thing cannot be used to stir anything thicker than water. The motor is pathetically weak, the paddle is flimsy and attaches to the motor poorly. About the only thing that does work is the frozen dish, which easily gets the “cream” frozen before the motor can make a single turn and bog down.
Most of the others I’ve seen look crummy, but don’t be fooled by this one, which looks well-built enough, but is just hiding the garbage “working” parts.

Love my ice cream maker and trying out different flavors! The bowl is big enough to make about 2 servings. Only complaint is that it’s a tad loud

I LOVE THIS THING! I work at a high school and I brought it in to make ice cream with my students. It is so easy to use, it makes the perfect amount of ice cream, you clean it the way you would clean any other bowl so it’s super easy and the ice cream tastes amazing – no freezer burn! The size of the bowl itself is so awesome although it is a bit annoying to carry my stand mixer into work.
