   I love this thing. I purchased it to replace a T-Fal skillet that I really liked, but over time, the T-Fal changed shape so that the center was higher than the edges, and your food didn’t cook evenly. I wanted a good skillet, but didn’t want to spend a fortune on one. Leave it to Cuisinart, they come through for me again! This thing is perfect. Big enough to handle any job, yet still fits in the dishwasher. Nice and heavy so you don’t have any “hot spots” and it made my Chicken Stroganoff come out amazing.

   This Cuisinart Skillet was ordered on December 30, 2023 and was delivered on January 2, 2024. I paid $39.95 + tax using my cuisinartoutlets.com Gift Card Balance. This has been in my cart for quite a while mainly because I only need a Skillet, I didn’t need a cover. I was hoping to get a better price without it. Unfortunately, this was the best price I could get at the time of purchase. The features that prompted me to buy this are the Lifetime Warranty and Metal Utensil Safe. To be honest, I was quite amazed with how neat this skillet was packaged. I inspected this skillet for scratches. The non-stick surface was fine. The bottom part has a ring mark close to the slope side of the skillet which was not a big deal since this part will probably get stained as it gets used and exposed to fire in time. I added a video of what I cooked on this. I will come back to tell you what I think of this product after several use to show you how this stands on its claim that this is Metal Utensil Safe and if scratches appear on its Non-Stick Surface.    This is my new favorite pan to cook with. It hearts up quickly and evenly and is completely non-stick. So far I’ve used to on med-high settings for eggs, bacon, sausage and quesadillas. Yesterday I set the heat on low and slow cooked some beef teriyaki. I’m finding I don’t even need to use oil or butter, everything I cook in in slides right off the surface. I love the angle and curve at the lip that allows easy flipping of items I’m cooking. Cleanup is a breeze as well, only needs to be rinsed and run over with a soapy sponge. I have been making a point of drying it with a dish towel right after washing it, rather than allowing it to drip dry in the dishrack. The handle on the lid can get hot, but other than that, this pan is pretty much perfect!

   Nice size skillet. It’s sturdy. Heats evenly. It holds a lot so one-pan recipes work well in this pan.

   I really like the glass lid.

   It cleans nicely. Don’t use metal or you’ll ruin it.

   Awesome skillet! Has lasted 3 years i believe. Durable. Just use proper care. No harsh chemicals or sharp objects. Towel dry after washing. Out lasted our others by a long shot! Any other skillet we’ve had to replace every 8 or 9 months.

   Believe the one star reviews. I used this only for the second time for pan frying fish with a wooden spatula and the surface is all scratched up already. I have cooked for many years and have honestly never seen a pan with such poor durability. This is going straight to the garbage.

    Despite the description on the site, this is not an induction pan. The packaging specifies gas, electric, glass, and halogen, but not induction. Magnets don’t stick to it. It may be a fine pan otherwise, but it is not as described on cuisinartoutlets.com when I bought it.

    Like title says, it worked amazingly for six months! The picture shows a tiny spot where the non-stick coating has peeled. The pan still works fine enough, but now I know that it’s days are numbered. I did use this pan a lot. About 5-7 times a week. I also did put it in the dishwasher. Not sure if this is supposed to be dishwasher safe or not. So, that’s how I used it in the six months since I’ve bought it. I’m not thrilled that it is already peeling with the price point it is at, I was hoping this pan would last at least a year before it started to lose its non-stick.

    EASY TO WASH — but you have to do it by hand. If you can commit to hand wash and never using oil as the base ingredient this may last you a long time. I am thrilled. It is a very generous size, but you can cook smaller amounts without a problem. Washes up by hand like a dream.

    Have had two of the smaller pans for at least 10 years and still using them. Finally, time to replace my old 12-inch skillet (not Hard-Anodized) and went with this one based on the durability of the smaller ones, and glass lid is a plus! Only concern is a noticeable ring in the center. Not sure if this is part of production since it arrived sealed and packaged. Almost looks like something was sitting on it and left a ring?? Still present after washing. Will see how it wears, not throwing out my old skillet yet. Not sure it will show in the picture.

    I have been using this pan for nearly two years. Before March 2020, on average, I used the pan for about five times a week. Since March, due to the pandemic, I have been using this pan twice a day every day. The picture is what looks like after two years of use. Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase, and I am ordering the same replacement although the current price is about one-third more than what I paid for the pan around two years ago. The pan is durable for a nonstick pan. I have not encountered issues such as the uneven bottom after extended use. I suspect these issues are more likely if you overheat the pan. The nonstick coating does wear off after two years of use, as seen in the picture. For most food, such as vegetable, poultry, and even eggs, the pan does not stick if you put enough oil in the pan. For seafood such as salmon (not the skin), it does stick, but the stuck residuals can be easily cleaned by deglazing them with water). I suspect that I would have been able to use the pan for an even more extended period had I not been so impatient that I used a steel scrubber to clean the pan for a few times.

    My first one lasted for three years of frequent use before the non-stick got sticky.This is pretty good so far as non-stick goes, so I bought another one. The pan itself is versatile and good for frying or sauteing. We sometimes make small batches of stew in it. Heating is uniform and clean-up is easy.
    But the handle on the glass cover gets hot and one needs to grab a pot holder every time something needs to be added. I had been using an old cover with an insulated handle and forgot about this problem. If I had remembered, I probably would not have bought the skillet.
