   I had been contemplating a FP upgrade for a while and finally purchased this after watching the video showing all the attachments. WOW or WOW! So powerful and not small at all! Love the 4 cup bowl along with the 13 cup one. (My previous only had a 9 cup bowl). It is so so worth the cost to have this powerful guy at hand. Mashes dates with ease, creating date paste instantly. It is also very easy to clean up. I would buy again and earlier in my contemplation process, for sure!

   El aparato es todo lo que promete, pica, ralla, rebana y tritura. El día de la entrega usé todos los aditamentos para ver su funcionamiento y todo trabajó perfecto, hice mantequilla de cacahuate en tres minutos o menos. Los cuadritos se hicieron en segundos. Muy contenta con el aparato. lo único que no me gustó es que se requiere de mucho espacio para guardarlo. También tengan cuidado con las navajas, son extremadamente filosas

   I compared the Cuisinart 13 cup with dicing kit to the Kitchen aid 13 cup with dicing kit. I had read a lot of reviews on both. It seems the Cuisinart had a lot more good reviews so I was prepared to like it better, but after close scrutiny, i realize the Kitchen Aid is far superior. My old food processor was a Cusinart and it was much stronger and more sturdy that this one. I think the 13 cup model is a lower quality model than the other Cuisinarts , but they don’t have the dicing kit, which is what I wanted.so I did a side by side comparison of the two; First, the work bowl and all plastic parts are about 3x thicker and more sturdy in the Kitchen aid. The Cuisinart work bowl plastic feels very thin, and flimsy, as if it will easily break. Funny thing, even though they are both 13 cup, the Cuisinart work bowl looks smaller, and the feed tube is smaller. The Kitchen aid felt way more study and was about 3x heavier. The Cuisinart is very light weight. The feed tube in the kitchen aid is very large , you could lay a whole potato sideways in it. The Cuisinart is smaller and you would have to cut up potatoes to make them fit in the feed tube. The motor for the Kitchen Aid is quieter, and sounds more robust, where the Cuisinart is loud and high pitched, sounds annoying. When you use the pulse mode in the Kitchenaid, it stops immediately after you release the button, where the Cuisinart keeps spinning for a few seconds, so there is less precision. The Cuisinart bowl is dark gray and its blades are gray, the Kitchen aid blades are white. The feed tube on the Cuisine art dicer is very small. The Kitchen aid feed tube for both the dicer and the processor are much larger so you can put in bigger pieces of food. Saving time. So, after all my tests, i must recommend the Kitchen Aid 13 cup with dicing kit over the Cuisinart. I don’t recommend the Cuisinart.

   This is a great food processor.
   We’ve mostly used it for grating cheese, parmesan for pasta and mozzarella for pizza, and it does a great job.

   My only complaint is that it takes a long time to air-dry.
   I prefer washing our dishes in the sink rather than the dishwasher, it’s just faster.
   But there are little nooks, crannies and chambers that water will get into that you cannot get a cloth into to dry them out.
   So I just wash it, hand dry it the best that I can and then leave it in the drying rack overnight.
   By morning, most of the water has evaporated.

   Takes up a lot of space in your cupboard, but great processor. Powerful and not whiny sounding.
