I have this food processor, the DFP-14BCN (purchased years ago). On this bundle the model number is the same, except for a Y on the end of the model number. (I confirmed with Cuisinart that these are very similar machines). On Cuisinart’s website they say the dicing kit is NOT compatible with any 14 cup processor, except a very short list. From their website: Compatible with FP/SFP-13, FP-110, FP-130, and FP-145 series Food Processors. I was confused. Why would cuisinartoutlets.com be selling these two as a bundle if the dicing attachment isn’t compatible with the processor?
I actually called Cuisinart and confirmed that unless the model is LISTED as compatible under the dicing kit, on the Cuisinart website, it is NOT compatible. They confirmed that the DFP-14BCNY (the model sold in this bundle) is NOT compatible with the dicing kit that cuisinartoutlets.com is selling it with. They only have ONE dicing kit available, so you must confirm that you have one of the very few models (see list above) that it works with. I was disappointed, but I’m not going to buy a new $200+ food processor in order to get the dicing attachment, when I have a perfectly good 14 cup cuisinart already.

Not sure if it is cuisinartoutlets.com or the seller that allows you to bundle the food processor with a dicing kit that does not fit the food processor it’s bundled with. If you “assume” that because it’s bundled together that it would work together, you’re wrong. The description of the dicing kit, which I didn’t read, lists the specific models that the dicing kit works with, and the DFP-14BCNY is not one of them.

The dicing blade will not work with this 14 cup food processer with which it is being sold. I confirmed this with a phone call to Cuisinart and now I must return my dicing blade.
