   Bought this pan in November and the bottom started pitting the next month. Now, not only the bottom is totally pitted but there are rust lines on the sides. We scrub these but they just seem to get worse! Don’t purchase this pan, it’s cheap junk that Cuisinart puts out.

   This pot feels sturdy. The handle is secure and feels solid in your hand. Good size for sauces, soups, and boiling water to prepare meals for two people. The lid fits snug and I like the ability to see what’s going on inside with the transparent glass lid.

   The Cuisinart 3 Quart pot is not cheap and it does NOT feel cheap. It feels heavy and very sturdy. It sits FLAT on my electric burner. It heats up everything very evenly. It also heats up very quickly. These are the most attractive pots,( I also bought the 1.5 quart pot) I have ever had. I will be hanging them up on a steel peg board with the Cuisinart 10″ and 12″ Green Gourmet skillets. PLEASE make sure you check out the pots measurement bc when I bought them they were wrong. The measurement I have shown here are for the 3 quart. Enjoy.

   We only use this EVERY day! It’s the perfect size for two people. I like the construction and the glass lid. The lid handle can get hot, but that’s what pot holders are for dummy. I bought one for each of my kids!

    Perfect size, my go to pan. Heats evenly and cooks to perfection. From popcorn, cooking vegetables, making pastry cream, it does it all wonderfully.

    The very first time I used it was to boil eggs. I only boiled them 7 min like I always do. But, the pot had little black spots all over the bottom when it was done. Kinda looks like little burn marks, only, the eggs were not burnt at all. I tried scrubbing them with a normal scrubby and all it did was leave little scratch Mark’s and not take off the black Mark’s.

    Needed new pans for the glass top stove. Solid construction with heavy bottom. Sets flat on the burner. The only down side is a heavy pot.

    After first use and first clean, three dark spots appeared on the inside bottom and I tried everything I could think of to remove it. It is surprising as I have never encountered this problem and this is my second set of Cuisinart. This particular pot was ordered separately as it wasn’t included in the set I recently purchased.
    Strange as this pot has a clad layer at the bottom and the set doesn’t.

    After less than two weeks of gentle use both pans developed black spots on the bottom. I believe this is due to erosion. The whole purpose to purchase stainless steel cookware was to get away from aluminum. Now I am afraid that due to erosion aluminum will leak into the food. I thought Cuisinart was supposed to be a premium brand. I thought they would use better quality alloys for their cookware. I guess I was wrong. I will try to return the pots and buy some other brand.

    A very well made and easy to clean pot. The perfect size for most meals, although it may be convenient to have another smaller pot for smaller uses (boiling eggs, pasta etc) 4 stars because the cover doesn’t form a very good seal, so when boiling water the rising heat tends to bring the cover up with it slightly, resulting tiny droplets of water dripping down the outside every so often. Honestly, I debated taking off a star for this since its such a minimal effect, but alas I’m ruthless.

    My previous 2 pots were both non stick coated and started to chip and peel much to soon.
    This Stainless Steel pot should last Much longer and I find it just as easy to clean.
