   I was debating between this and the Solo Stove Chiminea design with the gel fuel. Purchased this despite the negative reviews about the assembly. I found the instructions nearly perfect and no misalignment of holes or missing parts or anything mentioned in other reviews. It took about an hour to put together and we had no issues at all. That being said, it IS a two person job as it is flexible metal material – one person needs to flex and hold pieces in place while the other inserts the screws.

   Once assembled it is beautiful, flames dance around d, gives off a lot of heat. I love that the flames are controllable depending on how much heat you want. The propane tank is affordable and lasts a long time. Best bang for the buck IMO. Glad I went with this one.

   Assembly was easy. The instructions were easy to follow, my husband and son put it together in 30 minutes. Added some ceramic logs to create a more natural visual. Sat outside in 52F spring evening and felt very warm. Love it very much added ambience and warmth to my outdoor living area.

   Love the unit but not happy with customer service. Spent 3 hours assembling and discovered igniter was missing. Called customer service and they said they where on backorder but would ship as soon as they arrived. This was first of December and now June. Was a gift for my wife and I have to manually lite for her each time. Love the unit otherwise.

   As most have said putting this together is a bit of a pain. But that’s usually the case when deal with screw holes in metal. Everything has to line up just perfectly. Also some have said the screw holes aren’t in the right spots. That’s not true. Some of the pass thru holes are just bigger than the screw thickness giving wiggle room but if you screw each screw in tight as you go you are locking it into place versus just getting each screw started, giving the next screw slack to meet its hole and THEN tighten them all. My only issue is the welding on the protection bars around is one small weld on each side where they connect. one came out the box broken. the other wiggles. I can easily fix this and isn’t a major issue but sloppy to put a product out like that. Everything else though is awesome!

   I wanted a heater for our porch that we could sit in front of and feel the heat and this one fits the bill. All the others I’ve seen just produce heat above the flame … this one is like an indoor fireplace. It is beautifully made and designed. It has a rich look like the big ones at a ski resort. The lava rock heats up and produces a blue flame plus contains a lot of heat to help radiat the warmth outward. I think this unit would be great indoors as well maybe even better since the heat that escapes upward would warm the room. The assembly was pretty straight forward but the final stages were not easy to be sure. It took my son’s help to hold pieces together while I attached screws. At the end only one screw and nut were missing …. I had one so no problem. If there was a 6 star system of review … I’d give it 6!

Looks so cute and is a gift for my mother in law so she can enjoy her outside living space longer into the cold seasons. She was thrilled with how it looks and that she will have a cute heat source. 5 stars

   It’s 17 degrees out, but inside it’s 74 degrees and climbing and I’m only running on low! I’m using my Chimenea inside an 8′ x 8′ greenhouse (think outdoor dining hut) and it’s doing a great job warming it up when the temperature is low. I’ll note I can place a hand on the sides, back, and top cap without being too hot to the touch – most of the heat is going to warming the hut. I do have adequate ventilation, but I also use a Carbon Monoxide sensor and it’s never gone above 0 PPM. Assembling the Chimenea was straightforward and relatively simple. The instructions were reasonably close, and the images will get you in the area, but may not point to exactly the right hole for assembly. Be prepared to apply gentle pressure to pieces to fit into the right spots. Have a screwdriver handy that can get you into tight spots especially when assembling the upper part of the body. The unit will be wobbly until you get ALL of the pieces in place! I’ll note the shipping carton arrived looking a bit rough, but it did what it’s supposed to and it protected the product. However, I do have to subtract a few tenths points because of quality issues: bent edges, marred finish, and some other imperfections. All in all, I’d give it a 4.8, but I’m enjoying the heck out of it so it’s a 5 and I’d recommend buying it!

    This chiminea is very nice looking; however, the prior reviews read that it’s difficult to put together and requires two people. This was our experience as well. Also, our biggest complaint is that the two spacer bars for the sides of the unit are half and inch too big!!! We have no solution for this. 😕
