   I bought this slow cooker as a refurbished product and it is awesome! It is well constructed and easy to use. I have not discovered a flaw. This slow cooker is light years better than my other (3) less expensive crock pots in terms of heating, cooking controls, and capacity. Definitely worth the expense. The switch to warm automatically after cooking is really sweet. Surpassed my high expectations. This one is a beauty.

   Based upon the reviews, I had high hopes. So far, I have only used the slow cooker with extremely dissappointing results. Standard pot roast with carrots, red potatoes, onions and celery. Cooked on low for over 8 hours, and the veggies were raw and the roast while cooked was tough. Even after 10 hours and increasing to high, still not done. In all my years of cooking, I have never had this problem with a crockpot.

   I love this slow cooker, it’s easy to make large meals for parties. The base is a little touchy for the sensor to turn on the heat, overall I’m happy with it.

   Shipment came. I plugged it in. It didn’t work. Had to return. Has the features I was looking for and is similar to the Cuisinart that I was replacing that had stopped working after 3 years. I will not be repurchasing.

   I purchased a refurb unit with an extended warranty to save money. Unfortunately the company never repaired the unit and sent me a defective item.

   I love this. It has a brown/sauté mode and you can immediately switch from one setting to another. Non-stick heavy aluminum insert and roasting rack. The instruction booklet also has some very good recipes and usage suggestions.

   I purchased this refurbished and because of that it is warrantied for 90 days so purchased an extended warranty. The 7 quart size is perfect and fits nicely on a countertop.
