   Very practical pot and strainer but the quality is terrible. I have used it only 4 or 5 times and the bottom is rusting. I bought it 2 months ago so I can’t even return it.

   I had high expectations but the handles on this pot get very hot. I had seen reviews that said the handles didn’t get hot but they do. Also, the bottom is turning colors in places after only one use. I did like the lid and the water heated up fast and it cooked well. But not my dream pot.

   The screw on top is absolutely genius. The only improvement that could be made is that the handles get hot and require oven mitts. Handles that stay cool would make this the perfect product.

   Our previous pot didn’t work well on the new induction hob, so we had to replace it. The first test cooking pasta with this pot was a resounding success. The handles did not get as hot as I had feared, the lid closes tightly with no chance of spillage. For now highly recommended.

    I bought this pan mainly to replace an old pasta pan which still had a good locking mechanism in place. The lock on the Cuisinart lid is flimsy and does not close firmly while draining pasta. The pan itself could have been wider in size. Quality of the steel is good though.

    This a nice pasta boiler. Overall quality seems pretty solid. As you can see in the picture, there’s some sort of discoloration at the bottom, but I don’t think this is a product flaw. Between the type of metals and the minerals in my tap water, I believe this normal. The lid locks on tight, which makes for safely pouring out the hot water. Just make sure you have a good set of pot holders on hand. Be mindful of your cooking temps and water level. Despite the top being partially vented, I’ve had some near boil overs, which was completely my fault. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

    We are empty nesters now and this is the perfect size for our family of two. It heats up quicker than my previous large pot, but the best part is the lid. I love that you can just pour out the water instead of using a colander. Good value.

    I needed a pot big enough to boil potatoes or pasta, with a lid that allowed steam to escape. This pot is perfect. Not too big, not too small. The lid allows steam to escape, prevents water escaping, and serves as a drain. It also has marks on the inside to measure how much you’re filling. I am very happy with this purchase.

    I really want to love it. But whenever i decide tomuse it, its takes forever for water to boil on an electric stove and once it boils and you drop the pasta inside, it takes another while to boil again… I am not sure how to rate it…?! But these are my observations…..
