   I emailed Cuisinart with my model number and this is what they recommended. As you can see, and from other posts, these blades are prone to the plastic cracking after some use. This replacement blade looks and fits like the original. I thought it was a little expensive as you could probably buy a whole new Work Bowl for about the same price of the replacement blade.

   The CH-4 chopper itself is terrific. I mainly use it for mixing pasta dough (CHOP) and balling it (GRIND) quickly. However, the CH-4B blade doesn’t last. The plastic holding the original blade cracked so I replaced it with one of these. 2.5 years after that, the hex socket has stripped out. Now I’m ordering the third blade, and it’s expensive, without really knowing if the CH-4 hex motor shaft has also stripped out.

   I bought this 4 cup model blade, since cuisinartoutlets.com’s picture of the 2 cup model (DLC-2A) blade does not look like the original Cuisinart 2 cup blade I had.

   And I can verify that this blade works great with even the DLC-2A model.

   Very pleased with this replacement blade. It is a little taller than the original 2 cup blade I needed to replace, but that does not hinder performance (the top part of blade is still short enough not to touch the lid when locked).

   Second time I have replaced the blade. It tends to crack at the junction of the blade and the plastic. While it can still be used, cracks in the plastic could harbor food particles and therefore, bacteria. The motor on the cuisinart is great, so still does not seem worthwhile to replace the entire unit. It’s a die cast version and they don’t make them like this anymore.

    This item doesn’t fit. It won’t chop things in the bottom of the bowl. It’s taller than my original and doesn’t chop anything 1/2” from the bowl bottom.

    I purchased this blade in March 2014. I should have returned it. It does fit the Cuisinart DLC-4CHB mini prep BUT it does not fit it correctly. I attached some photos so you can see the difference. The blade does not sit far enough down into the bowl to chop all of whatever you are trying to chop, as you can see in the first photo. You’ll have to open it up, stir and chop again. The original blade is on the left and the replacement on the right. You can see in the last photo how the inside is completely different. That is what doesn’t allow it to sit on the bottom of the bowl. When I ordered last year the product was shipped from Small Appliances so perhaps another seller would be different. But I thought I’d show the issue I had.
