   My mom bought these as a housewarming gift when I moved out for the first time. My first impression was I enjoyed that they gave you a brief synopsis of what each color knife was suggested to use for. I really wanted and still want to love these. I enjoy the colors, and that they come with guards to have piece of mind storing them. However, the ones I use the most (orange pairing and green meat knife) need to be replaced in a really short amount of time. One of the protective cases cracked. And the colors come off the knives which cant be safe for the food you’re cutting to consume. They’ve become dull and I’m nervous to sharpen and lose more color. I’m on the fence about purchasing a new set. Considering alternative options.
