With the exception of my espresso machine all of my coffee paraphernalia are Cuisinart.
This grinder replaces a 40-year-old KitchenAid upright grinder that had belonged to my parents.
So far I have made drip and espresso coffee with this grinder. Both came out perfect; no grind-burn occurred.
I will try cold-brew next, but I expect similar results.
The only small issue is that the timed-grind ends a little too soon for the rated number of cups (i.e., not quite enough grounds for the strength marked on the timer). This is OK, I just give it one extra cup’s-worth and it turns out fine.
All in all, very happy. It has a three-year warranty; let’s see how long it actually lasts.

Had to replace my Cuisinart Programmable Conical Burr Model CBM-18C. I was having a hard time finding this model as Iām thinking Cuisinart has discontinued this model. Ended up splurging for the New Cuisinart CBM-22 model. Tried it once and like it so far. It is quiet (quieter than my old model). You can program your grind to your perfection. Comes with a container that you can easily store your grinds in plus easy to clean and non Static (the coffee grinds are not sticking to the container and all other parts of the grinder). I recently tired out the model DBM-8C (Automatic Burr) which is electric and not a conical. Had to return it back to cuisinartoutlets.com. Thank goodness for a Prime Subscription. If you are a coffee drinker and value your coffee get a conical grinder. The CBM-22 was a little bit more than I wanted to pay for a grinder but hoping it gives me many good years of good coffee grinding. Plus Cuisinart has a 3 year warranty on it.
