I’ve had this rice cooker/steamer since 2007 and still works perfectly for rice. I’ve never used it for steaming because I didn’t even realize it did that until this review, lol…so I’ll be trying it.

I bought this and in the beginning it really was a good item. However after the 4th or 5th use the motor must have burned out..I smelt electrical burning. I turned it off let out cool down and then tried to iuse again…the lever would not stay down in red position……useless now and honestly used nomore than 5 times.
waste of good money…I use to trust this brand…no more
