   Over 10 years ago I bought one just like this and I gave it to my daughter because she just loved it so I did not hesitate to buy another one. It’s fast and you control the grinding size It’s automatic though.

   These are not NEW. The grinder I received had been previously opened and came with a dent in the side. I was suspect before opening “The Box” as the box was “worn” and showed signs of being opened more than once. Most like a returned item and maybe returned more than once!

   I love this machine! It easily grinds my whole beans for different types of brews. I use it a lot to grind coffee beans for my cold brew. I can’t say if the storage is airtight because I don’t leave coffee remains in the machine and wouldn’t recommend to do so if you want your coffee grounds to remain fresh for long.

   Our previous grinder would clog every other day. I would have to take a knife and dig coffee grinds out of the chute to unclog. I got tired of doing that after years and years…..so I went shopping on cuisinartoutlets.com and found this gem. LOVE this grinder. The fine setting makes fine grounds. The course setting makes course grounds. Unbelievable! Our previous grinder ground every setting to the same courseness. This Cuisinart grinder does not get clogged either. Did I mention you can make whatever courseness you desire and it does not clog?!?! Nothing more need be said.

   I love these coffee bead grinders, they just don’t last as long as I’d like them to. Our first one lasted two years and then it just died on day. Lame.

    It is quite noisy but grinds well. I’ve had it for a couple of months now and I like it. Keep in mind it grinds 18 cups worth of coffee at once that 18 cups is actually good only for about seven or 8 cups of coffee.
    The capacity is probably 44 cups worth of coffee, so, even if you drink, strong coffee, you don’t have to replace the coffee grinder every time you empty it out
