   This coffee pot makes great coffee. Yes, you definitely should use charcoal filters. It makes a difference in the taste of the coffee.

   But when brewed, the coffee is delicious. Coffee brews quickly.
   My only complaint is the location of the indicator of how many cups of water have been added. Location is inconvenient. Other than that, pot is attractive, and as mentioned, coffee comes out great tasting.

   We love this coffee maker! I love the 2 extra cups it provides. I adore the color (copper). It matches my bronze/copper kitchen beautifully. Our favorite feature though is the carafe pour spout. No drips or spills!! The one we are replacing was very messy. All the great features will be explored in due time and I will update those later. As of now we are satisfied with our filtered, hot cups of coffee! The other thing I particularly like about it is that it’s hefty without being too large. Even the carafe handle is thick and solid. All in all I have no complaints and am very pleased with this purchase. I would definitely recommend.

   The first one was defective and just hissed and spit instead of brewing. I had to repack to return but I got another and it works fine. I got it because the finish matched my kitchen but honestly, a $40 pot would be just at good at making coffee.

   Why did you pick this product vs others?:
   I choose this product because of the color. After the first pot, we had coffee grounds everywhere. Cleaned it up. Then when we made every pot after it would always put the coffee grounds all over. It makes a stout cup of coffee but there always is coffee grounds in the cup when you drink it. Clean up is awful. Every time you make coffee it does this. Not a good choice if you don’t want to clean it every time.
   Value for money:
   The price was comparable with others.

   I absolutely love this coffee maker! My last Cuisinart coffee maker lasted 7 years. I really liked it also. This one has great added features. The LED screen is large and easily readable very easy to set and program. Easy to change the brew to BOLD, the clean light tyhat lets you know when you need to decalcify, and more. I was worried about going from a 12 cup maker to a 14 cup that it would take up more counter space and be a lot taller. Nope! They were the same height but the carafe is wider. Super happy with this purchase. I hope that cuisinart will make a copper coffee grinder as well. ☕❤

   I put up with a Braun coffee maker that never made my coffee hot enough. I had to microwave every cup I poured. I was thinking of replacing it with a Cuisinart (I had always had that brand before) when the Braun did me a favor and up & died. This is the Cuisinart I bought and couldn’t be happier!     Finally back in stock! We have the 12 cup model and it really is a simple and reliable way to make coffee. Everything works perfectly – great pot of coffee every time. Just flawless. But somehow in the morning my 2nd cup is short a few sips of coffee. We have really bit mugs. We just wanted a bit more coffee. Not a whole pot – just a couple more cups. Our new place has a copper sink and I thought a copper coffee pot would be the perfect touch. I hummed and hawed and finally decided to buy this upgrade. Just as I hit the “buy” button this thing goes out of stock. Worse, at the time it was an cuisinartoutlets.com exclusive. Nobody had one – and I really did look hard. I kept my eye on this model on and off over the past 6 months and suddenly it’s back. I hit the ORDER button and it arrived yesterday. What a beauty! It’s not a cheap shiny bright copper but more of a muted pink/brown shade of copper. It’s exactly what I wanted. I should be mad because the identical model in silver, red, black or white can be had for about $40 less at most big box stores. But after searching high and low for this color I’m just glad it’s finally available.

    Love the copper color I had new filters and parts from the previous machine they fit this one too. The previous one had the kcup thing and was a 12cup. The kcup part started leaking after 3 1/2 yrs so upgraded to this 14 cup. So far I like it. Still have to be careful pouring when its full I think I just want to pour it to fast I guess it dribbles. Coffee tastes great. I ended up getting a keurig for k cups cappuccino milk steamer all in one instead of the combined Cuisinart this time. I use both machines. The big pot in the morning the other for a one cup of whatever late in the day. I rarely waste money at the coffee shops cant afford a $6-8 coffee everyday. Have a mix of metalscand chromes love the copper as a contrast. Only complaint is the lid on the pot did same thing on the previous you cant pour quickly or it spills dribbles.

    An update. The carafe copper coating started peeling. I guess it was made during pandemic or post pandemic when quality control was lacking. Never underestimate warranty. Cuisinart warranty works within 3 years from purchase date. Register your product on Cuisinart website. I contacted Cuisinart Customer Service and after submitting proof of purchase (go to your cuisinartoutlets.com order history and save your order invoice) and received my carafe replacement soon after that. Happy customer here.
