Nice unit. Fast, and simple to use. Although I do not use the “cup” for melting butter (just to slow and messy), I heat the my butter on the gas stove in a stainless measuring cup, and it if started at the same time, the butter is ready when the popcorn is. This Popper does tend to throw the popcorn out fairly vigorously – you’ve been warned… I will often put a damp dish towel over the outlet and the capturing bowl to minimize the wild ones.

With any air popper, some seeds will pop out, unpopped, but what I started doing is holding a wide, round, wooden spoon over the twirling seeds until they start popping. This way, no seeds escape and once there are a lot of seeds fully popped, I can remove the spoon and all the popcorn comes out into the bowl. This machine is great; it heats up fast (just make sure you have it on HEAT, and not the fan, (I just assumed there was there was on button and off button. But, there is a “fan” too. I am very happy with this purchase.

The only problem with this is the top is plastic so it kinda melts a little but which is bad. The smell is kinda bad and smells a little bit like a hairdryer. Otherwise great.

Don’t buy this, I have used it 3 times since I bought it, the 1st time it worked to a point, took 20 minutes to make a bowl of Popcorn. 2nd time was about the same. 3rd time it took over 30 mins and no corn. I put less than a half a cup of corn in it and it just tumbled tumbled. Not worth the time or hassle, I can make popcorn in the Microwave in 2 minutes, I can make it on the stove in about 3 mins. This thing has turned into a paperweight.

Really liked how fluffy the popcorn came out once it was popped. It does tend to blow out kernels when it first starts to pop. We’ll have to try a larger kernel to see if that’s more or less the problem or not. I will update if that makes a difference either way. It does have an on/off switch which other brands don’t have. Go figure. Overall, a very good Popcorn Popper that doesn’t require anything but the hot air to make nice, fluffy, hot, fresh, popcorn. I like it!

Used this item twice successfully. The 3rd time we tried the kitchen filled with smoke within about 5 seconds after turning it on. Of course, when we tried to return it, it was a day beyond the 30 day point. I contacted the seller who said they’d replace it for me. It took 9 days and 2 email requests from me before they emailed me a return label. I tracked when they received the return, and sent an email asking when I would see the replacement. They said I’d see it in 3-5 days. I emailed again over a week later looking for the replacement. They said they would definitely send it out. A week later and I still haven’t received anything, they said it mistakenly was returned to the shipper. At this point I’ve just asked for my money to be refunded.

I haven’t had an air popper in many years, and at that time I wasn’t impressed. I had read quite a few good reviews, love snacking in popcorn and trying to lose a little bit of weight so I thought I’d give it a try.
This machine does an excellent job! It’s easy to use and truly makes delicious air-popped popcorn! And can make a huge batch. While there is certainly a difference between this and oil-popped popcorn if you’re looking for a healthier option I definitely recommend.

I am now on my second one of these because the first one died. I’m not really complaining, as I used it nearly every single day for probably over a year. It looks good in my kitchen and makes good popcorn. They have changed the on/off switch, and the new version is easier to use (the old one required two hands to turn off because it would push the whole machine around).
I do wish it wouldn’t send popcorn flying so far out, but I assume they all more or less do that. I also use smaller than usual kernels, which tend to fly more. My solution (my mom’s idea) is to drape a kitchen towel over the machine during peak popping, which completely solves the problem.
