   This is a great handheld mixer. We had the corded version before grabbing this one. Same quality and effectiveness but now cordless! Battery lasts a long time, very easy to clean and use. I’ve been very impressed with Cuisinart products, definitely not a company to rest on their name, they’ve kept up with creating quality products. Also gotta mention their customer service is amazing.

   Purchased this for my daughter for Christmas in 2023, after using it for a year she really likes it, only con is if she doesn’t use it for a month or so it needs recharging, not good if she’s in a rush to prepare a meal. Other than that she is very happy with it. Should it ever fail I have no doubt she’ll either purchase another one or it’ll show up on her Christmas Wish List !!!!

   My original review was a “1” . Basically the unit did exactly what it was supposed to do and what I wanted it to do until it quit. I was angry – then I contacted Cuisinart support – and WOW! They were very helpful, explained that my item was actually stale inventory the shipper had sent me from stock that was not for the American market, but if I provided the cuisinartoutlets.com invoice they would honor what I thought was a generous warranty from my date of purchase. They are replacing the unit and I don’t have to go through the exercise of shipping it anywhere.

   I have several Cuisinart products, never had a problem with any of them before this, and they sure came through. Let us say I am a happy camper. My original review is below:

   I don’t know what to say. It was great when it worked, I did not abuse it, I kept it clean. but it just gave up and no longer charges. Wire is in as new shape. So presumably battery has to be replaced – but really, it gave up in one year?

   So happy I bought this. I burned out my hand mixer in the middle of mixing a very thick batter. My husband used his portable handheld drill to finish for me. So when I was shopping for a new one I thought why not a cordless handheld … if they even make them. Well they do and this works like a charm. Not real strong for buttercream icing but great for whip cream. Charges up fine and full charge latest while I was using. I keep it fully charged all the time so it is ready to go.

    This product arrived nicely packaged, like new. It was purchased as a graduation present for my daughter to use in college. Unfortunately, when she opened it the first time, it looked dirty. We snapped pictures of it, still in the box, with all sorts of grime inside. My daughter tried to use it, and it did not work. It would turn on for a few seconds, then turn off as if the motor had overheated and she couldn’t get it on again until it cooled down for several minutes. Our return window has closed. She was saving this to use in college. This is a huge disappointment.

    I have all the big deal mixers… I bought this little buddy to blend sauces, soups etc. What I didn’t realize is what a powerful force this was for making icy drinks. GOD BLESS AMERICA IS THIS AMAZING!! I throw this puppy into my bag when I go boating, beach, friends’ parties, camping, river, etc. It’s an amazing portable blender. The charge lasts for days! Using crushed ice from the ice maker or any bagged ice, it created the easiest amazing slushee. I chunk it in a metal yeti cup, and mix away. So compact, cordless, and easy to clean. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!*** UPDATE: After almost 2 years, my bestie mixer died on me and wouldn’t recharge. I called Cusinart and they are replacing it!!!!!!!!! AWESOME SERVICE and FANTASTIC LITTLE BLENDER

    This machine is so very powerful. It went to a full charge witin an hour of my taking it outcof the box. A bit smaller than I expected. Haven’t checked it yet if it actually holds 4 cups..maybe up to the brim, which means you cannot use it for the full 4 cups. All plastic, so a bit flimsy. But that’s ok for the price, and the power makes up for that. It REALLY works well. Dont think it will last more than a year or two, because plastic is so thin. Again, that’s ok..price is right and I do trust Cuisinart products. I do recommend for the power and the convenience of it being rechargeable! Very easy to use and easy to clean!!

    I really wanted to like this cordless hand blender. Pros: it’s cordless, it’s powerful and I like the color and how it looks. Unlike others, I appreciate the safety features on this blender. My mom had a bad finger accident a few years ago with an older cuisinart that didn’t have the safety feature. The lock/unlock workflow isn’t the most intuitive but can be learned. Cons: 1. the metal housing around the blade is sharp and has very sharp corners. This made scratches even in my stainless steel pan… can’t imagine what it might do to any non-stick cookware. 2. I typically don’t like utensils that are not dishwasher safe. Neither blade/shaft nor the whisk can be tossed in the dishwasher, adding to the chores. 3. it’s single speed… however I knew that going in. I’m now looking at Vitamix which is more expensive, but has a guard to avoid utensils from getting scratched and has variable speed. Not sure if Vitamix parts are dishwasher safe. [edit] Ultimately I splurged a bit and got the Breville All In One which was rated highly by Wirecutter, and I’m quite happy with it.
