   I absolutely love this percolator! It’s easy to use and makes the smoothest coffee. My cuisinart drip coffee machine broke after 3 years so I decided to try a percolator instead of just replacing with another drip coffee machine. This one is an amazing modern percolator! It stays hot for 30 minutes, and to heat up the water and steep for 4 minutes the entire cycle takes about 7 minutes. The spout doesn’t spill when you go to pour and it’s super easy to clean.

   I wanted to return it because I thought it was not user friendly at all but i finally decided to keep it so much I love it. After playing with it, I completely understood how it is working and it is quite simple now. I love everything about it. The size (5 cups) is perfect for 1 person who likes drinking tea or coffee. The size is so convenient, it doesn’t take room in my small kitchen. It is a 2-in1 appliance, a kettle and a coffee maker at the same time. It makes excellent tea and coffee. The temperatures are perfect for any beverage. I should have bought it since its release. It is also a very gift-able product. Love it love it love it. I Will buy it again if by my fault the glass breaks. I hope it will work for more than the warranty lentgh. I highly recommend it and I hope it will not be discontinued soon. Thank you Cuisinart for your excellent products at an affordable price.

   What’s great is you can fine tune the temp and time it percolates from 185f to 205f in 5 degree increments, time increments from 4 to 8 mins and can adjust brew strength as well. Temp is spot on accurate too, I have measured with thermometer. Also heats water for tea in increments up to 212f. Great for 2 to 3 coffee cup size drinks.

   Cuisinart must really be playing on the fact that most people don’t know your Presto/Farberware percolator can also be a kettle. For those who really want the customization this offers, it could be worth it.

   I like this product it’s fun to watch the coffee brew through the clear glass carafe. It’s a bit quirky it relies on a magnetic pole to hold a spinner down at the bottom that turns on and off to move water up into the basket where the coffee coffee grounds are so it can drip down. What I have found is if coffee grounds get somehow stuck moving back up into the basket the water won’t go back up. That’s why I gave it four stars instead of five.

   This seller sold us a product that did not work- turned on but kept shutting off shortly thereafter, told us if we wanted to return it we had to pay for our own shipping- even though it was Prime, and then told us that basically they can’t help us and we should contact Cuisinart. Basically, they told us too bad, they don’t care. I would stay far , far away from them.
