Cuisinart has gone to non-BPA components. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Worse, I ordered a work bowl cover from them and it didn’t lock down with this bowl. I have to return it. I did get the appropriate bowl (non-BPA) from Cuisinart, but then discovered that this particular bowl from cuisinartoutlets.com wouldn’t work with the cover, and I had to order another bowl. I want to return this.

The large work bowl for my 12 year-old Elite Series food processor broke in my most recent move. I was so worried I’d have to give up and buy a new machine since it’s been discontinued, but luckily this one fits perfectly!
