   I love this ice cream maker. It’s very easy to use, mess free , easy to clean . I made fresh strawberry ice cream so far as well as chocolate one. Delicious. It comes out pretty firm. I noticed that people said about soft serve texture but I think that may depend on the recipe . My ice cream was a bit more firm than soft serve. I think this ice cream maker is really good. Perfect to make cold treat for hot summer days:)

   This is a great little ice cream maker and is so easy to use. Just chill the bowl , add ingredients, and turn it on. It does all the work and in about 15 minutes you have delicious homemade ice cream! Easy clean up too. We love it!

   I use this machine for frozen yogurt so cannot comment on its use as an ice cream maker. Worked well as advertised and pretty easy clean up. The enclosed recipe book specifies that you must strain yogurt multiple times through cheesecloth before using it in this machine, but the book is outdated because if you used Greek style yogurt in this machine it works great with no straining. It also seems to work better when making large batches of 1 quart/liter or more at a time (max. capacity is 1.5 qt.). Small batches do not appear to be as creamy smooth as they tend to clump more while larger batches turn out with almost flawless texture. Buy some plain Greek yogurt, and add your own mix-ins (and sweetener) and you will never go back to Cold Stone again while saving big bucks!

   Love everything about this machine, except the motor is a bit noisy. That’s why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. But, otherwise I am very pleased. Cleans easily and makes 1.5 quarts of frozen delights !! For the price…..it’s a keeper !

   Works very well. My 4 stars has to do with the whole process. The time it takes, the space in my small freezer. I guess I’m not fair as any ice cream maker would have the same comments. Oh yes Also the novelty wears off. So in my mind its an impulse buy. However its a fine easy to use machine.

   We’ve only used it once and it was priceless. Follow the directions closely and don’t get creative until you’ve tried it once. The frozen product is about two times bigger than the original ingredients. I cut my recipe in half and it was plenty – especially since we added cookies to the frozen product with about 3 minutes to go. The mix was about 2 cups to begin with and ended up filling the bowl very nicely. The color is delicious and the ease of use is amazing. Again, read the directions – you don’t want to risk any of the pieces of this wonderful machine getting ruined because you missed something. Enjoy!
