   I was looking at several portable grills and this one seemed to be the bang for the price. The folding legs are a nice feature, though not implemented very well. Pros: – Name brand, so I expect I can get replacement parts if needed in the future. – Good quality compared to other grills in this price range. I like the cast hinges that are bolted on. Other grills like the Coleman use bent sheet metal honges which are riveted on. – Built in folding stand. Nice for when you don’t have a table to put it on or don’t want to use table space for your grill. – Electric flame starter. – Grease drip tray. – Good build quality. – Locking grill lid. Cons – The stand is pretty flimsy. I added screws in the plastic feet to hold them on better. You have to keep an eye on it when using the stand as it can easily be tipped over. – Stand legs slide out when folded in for transporting. I had to add two locks to the legs (in picture) to hold the legs in place when folded. Seems like a huge oversight. Other reviewers noted this as well. – Short stand height. When using the stand, the grill surface height is 27.5″ which makes using it awkward. – Sheetmetal grill rack. These typically don’t last as long as cast racks. Pretty much every grill in this price range uses a cheaper grill rack so not a huge deal. – A little larger when folded upthan other portable grills in this price range. The folding stand adds considerably size to this grill so if having a stand is both a pro and a con. – Inside pan is pre-plate plain carbon sheet steel which tends to rust over time. I may paint mine with high-temp paint to help it last longer. Other reviewers noted the use of plastic on the lock slider which can melt if you are not careful. I bought the larger propane tank adapter (which is still in transit) as well.

   This is a great grill for a single person, or even a medium family. Good size grill, heats up very quickly, but only wish that it used a standard large propane tank. Those little ones are very expensive. Also wish it had a drip pan, not the little Teeny tray that you slide out. Little more work to clean every time, but at least the grill itself is nonstick. Would definitely recommend it. Especially good for camping and portable trips.

   I have never purchased a “used” item from cuisinartoutlets.com but did so with this grill based on another review. It presented as brand new – I don’t think the box had even been opened! This is a great little grill! I did watch a video on how to set up and fold down the legs, but the explanation is spot on in the printed directions. I set it up, added a small propane bottle and used it immediately. The cook surface is small compared to a regular grill, but perfect for me alone. My food was great and the clean up was a breeze! I washed the grate in my sink and wiped out the inside of the grill with a dishcloth. This grill is perfect for an apartment deck and folds down easily for storage. I am happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this grill for anyone with limited space.

   I am changing my rating on this grill. I previously gave it a 1 because of a repeat issue. But I contacted Cuisinart customer service and conversed with Mary Moriaty. She was extremely helpful and sent me a brand new replacement grill. I’ve tested it and it works perfectly. Thank you Mary.
   I strongly recommend this grill and Cuisinart as a company.

   Overall, I’m utterly happy with this grill for its portability, telescopic stand, cooking quality and easy cleanning.
   The only reason I’m taking one star away is that feet lock mechanism is a permanent failure when it comes to extending the legs. Sometimes it takes way too long to set it up. And second issue is the ignition – it normally doesn’t ignite from the first attempt.

   Update: be very careful when using the grill cleaning spray. If you get it on the painted cover, it causes discoloration or total removal of the paint in spots where cleaning solution remained longer than few minutes.

   I bought this as a damaged box unit and I have had really good luck in the past with the damaged box items, this was in new condition but for someone had used it prior to returning it and didn’t clean it so had a bit of a task cleaning the slobs fish pieces off the burner grate and sides but when i did behold just like a brand new unit worked first try and heats great, well worth the discount price I paid, about 1/2 price so just love it as it’s just the right size for two of us here.
