I bought this hand blender for soap making, and it very difficult to operate since you have to hold the lock button down and the speed button simultaneously so that the blades start running. For this, you have to use both hands, and even after the blades start running, they suddenly stop, and you have to unlock the device again. Since I use this hand blender with lye it is kind of dangerous having trouble operating and using both hands to start the blender. I wish there was a way to disable lock button for good
