   Love it! Bought this to replace an electric kettle with plastic walls, due to concerns about toxic chemicals leaching. I love that there is no water/plastic content in this kettle! As others have noted, the color is not a black-black. It’s more a slightly brown dark grey. I actually think it’s lovely, and it fits well in my kitchen with a lot of black and black/stainless appliances. Not a perfect match, but doesn’t clash.

   The water heats up quickly, and the auto-shut off gives me peace of mind! All in all, I’m so pleased!

   A final note – I really like the 1 L size. A LOT of kettles are 1.7 Liters, including the one I just replaced. But it’s just me, and I don’t really need that capacity. This fits better in my smallish kitchen, so the smaller size is a win for me!

   I use this every day. It boils water very quickly and is big enough for my family of one. Be careful around the spout when it is boiling as the steam that comes out is super hot. The auto shut off is a great feature and I have not had any disappointment with this kettle.

   I’m totally hooked on this thing! The reviews are spot on – it’s small, but it’s perfect for two people. And guess what? It’s got plenty of hot water to rehydrate those chilies you love. I’m also a big fan of the sleek design and all the stainless steel. It’s so modern and stylish. And the best part? The lid stays locked in place while you’re filling it, and it’s quieter than a regular water heater.

   It’s a great kettle with simple functions. It’s interior is all stainless steel which is safe for boiling water. It boils water fast within 6 -7 minutes. I measured the water temperature after boiling and it reached 212F which is accurate. It’s simply operated, just and on/ off button. The outside doesn’t get hot after water is boiled which is a great feature . I wish there’s a bigger size for the same type. The only thing I noticed that it shakes at the end of the boiling cycle.(See video) .

   I’ve only used this kettle once but I love it already! This is our first electric tea kettle and I’m impressed. It heats fast enough and pours great. Easy to clean. We went with the black color but the color is more like a matte dark gray. The brand’s website says the color is ‘warm black’. I’m ok with the color, it still looks nice.

   This is an excellent electric kettle. Outside does not get scalding hot, but water comes out very hot. Great pour, and easy to fill and clean.

    I trust Cuisinart products personally but was disappointed to open the box and see this weird grey and tan colored appliance. However, the size is ideal. Not wasting water or electricity by boiling more than you need. Nice chunky handle. Great design. Except the color and finish.

    Love this non plastic stainless steel electric kettle. Spent so much time looking for a kettle that didn’t have any plastic in contact with the water (nothing, not on the lid or viewing measurements) it was nearly impossible to find one. This one is pretty and durable – good quality, works as planned, heats up pretty fast (1-2 mins depending on how much water). Easy to clean (I only use it for water, so just need to wipe outside) and at a great price point for a well known household brand. I bought this for Xmas gifts for my mom and mother in law so they can start removing plastics from their kitchens too.. Ps. one call out is that there’s no measuring window, but that was ok for me, since it keeps the integrity of the jar (all stainless steel, no plastic!) and that was the main reason for getting this.

    Seems sturdy and well made. Auto shutoff works. This one is lower wattage than many which I wanted in order to run from generator or battery during power outages, so it probably takes a little more time to heat. My ONLY criticism would be that the lid should open a little wider for pouring water in from a cup, it’s a very minor inconvenience. After looking at so many brands I have no regrets with this choice.
