   Esta es una de las mejores cafeteras caseras, es fabulosa, práctica, yo tengo una desde hace mas de 4 años y siempre ha funcionado a la perfección, por lo que ahora compré otra para regalar.
   Hace como un año quise regalar una, pero no había, como que dejaron de fabricarla un tiempo. Por eso en cuanto vi que estaba en el mercado nuevamente, la compré, la regalé y me han comentado que funciona exactamente igual que la mía viejita.
   Puedes preparar un café o los que quieras, es súper rápida, y como tiene la opción de usar café molido, es muy práctico y económico.
   Realmente la recomiendo muchísimo.
   Es la mejor de su tipo.

   My keurig finally gave out after about 8 years. I compared the cuisinart to the new generation of keurig and was impressed with the sturdiness (build) of the cuisinart (keurig is just cheap plastic now). Both were about the same price. Cuisinart at about 150 anywhere I looked and keurig was 100-150 depending on the site/store. Out of the box, wife and I were impressed with the design and all the extras that cuisinart offers. Now, I only brew coffee, so review is strictly coffee brew related for last 3 months. I’ll update later with wife’s review on tea and cleaning, etc. I found the brew was much lighter and the coffee taste was very much subdued compared to the same keurig brew. Not sure if that’s from the filter or water temp. The keurig would brew a much stronger coffee (coffee taste appeared stronger). Cuisinart brew was lighter and easier on the taste buds. I didn’t need to add as much creamer. I’m on the fence on how I feel about this. At times I want a strong coffee. However, the new brew is much easier on my stomach and pleasant for daily coffee consumption. K cup brew or ground brew is equal in comparison with both coffee makers. Ultimately, I believe we made the wise decision with our new purchase considering the decline in keurigs ability to make quality coffee makers. Cuisinart is constant in quality and cost. I’ll update in 6 months. For now, I believe cuisinart is the better brand in comparison to keurig.

   i have always bought the other brand but last one was defective so decided to try this brand as it has always had a good reputation for quality. It did not disappoint. i absolutely love it. it has several size options and even an extra hot option. takes about a minute and a half to make my coffee from start to finish. there are other options of setting a timer for it but for me i don’t use that option. yet lol. it has a clock so you can even see the time. Totally worth the money. woohoo

   Everything about this Coffee Maker is wonderful! It is the best coffee pod maker we have ever purchased. Previously we have bought 5 Kurig makers in total since they first came out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A KURIG. Our last one lasted exactly 2 years and then all of a sudden one morning it would not power on. My wife tried everything she knew to try as I was out of town then she called Kurig customer service and they told her to try the exact same things and still it wouldn’t turn on. They then told her there was nothing more they could offer as it was un-repairable and she would need to purchase a new one. It was a $220.00 machine that lasted 2 years. They then said they could offer a 30% off coupon if we bought another one from them. The coupon never did come. As it turned out, we benefited because I found the Cusinart machine on cuisinartoutlets.com and it only cost $130.00 delivered. Moral of the story is STAY AWAY FROM KURIG and buy Cusinart. You will not be disappointed!!!

   When I unpackaged the coffeemaker, I thought the clear plastic piece and white tablet-like thing inside the water reservoir were just packing materials. These parts were not identified in the manual or anywhere, and because I wasn’t sure if they should be in my water for brewing, I took them out of the reservoir and was prepared to throw them in the trash. Then my coffeemaker wouldn’t work (it kept saying Not Ready Add Water). After reading an article online, I realized those unidentified parts are actually crucial for the machine to work! The white tablet is the water sensor that tells the machine whether there is enough water in the reservoir. If this were labelled or explained somewhere in the manual or quick reference instructions, that would save people like me from throwing away the sensor, thinking it’s just some piece of useless plastic for packaging. Once I put the sensor back in, everything works as expected and it seems like a good single-serve coffeemaker!

   **** UPDATE 3/17/2025 **** It has been two years five months since my purchase. I’m still brewing no less than four K Cups per day. No issues to date. I’m still using the 1 to 2 vinegar/water ratio to descale as recommended by Cuisinart. Today I ran a 12 oz hot water cycle (without K Cup) and got the same 13 oz output as when the coffee maker was new. As stated in my original review if a K Cup was used it soak up some water and the output would be about 12 oz, **** END OF UPDATE **** I purchased this unit on October 15, 2022. Today is June 23, 2024. About four or five cups of coffee have been brewed daily since I received the unit. So far I have not had any issues. ***** QUALITY ***** Some reviewers compared this model SS-10P to an older similar Cuisinart model SS-700 (discontinued) stating the older model is built better. I have been on this planet quite a few years and agree “they don’t make em like the used to”. IMHO this applies to most small kitchen appliances whether the brand is Cuisinart, Keurig, ACME or whoever. With that being said my review is based on what is available in today’s market I purchased this Cuisinart SS-10P to replace a Keurig Slim that was on it’s second warranty replacement. The Keurig Slim was purchased to replace an older working Keurig to save counter space. One deciding feature for my purchase is the three year warranty and U.S. based support (I think) available by voice call. I called Cuisinart regarding another appliance and I asked the agent if he was U.S. Based. He replied yes. ***** FEATURES ***** The features are basic. Brewing temperatures, auto shut off, auto power up (based on time set), clock, 4, 8, 10 and 12 ounce cups, hot water only, time to descale notice. There is no brew strength setting. ***** BREWING AND NOISE ***** As other reviewers have stated the brew time is slower than some other coffee makers. I agree. In my opinion the faster the brew the weaker the coffee, the slower the brew the stronger the coffee. Maybe the brew speed is a compromise. I agree the brewing process is louder than other coffee makers. For my personal preference this does not bother me at all. How loud is too loud is subjective. The select brew size is reasonably accurate. I ran a hot water only 12 oz. The amount of water measured was about 13 oz. See attached photo number 1. If a coffee pod was being brewed some of the water would have been soaked up by the coffee grounds. ***** MAINTENANCE ***** I don’t baby my Cuisinart. I have been waiting on the descale notice to appear before descaling the unit. Today after descaling I decided to descale once per month in the future and not wait for the descale notice to appear. The Cuisinart manual hints at not waiting on the descale notice. This may add little more to the life of the unit. Cuisinart says to use 20 oz vinegar mixed with 40 of water to descale the unit. I heave been doing this. No problems. I use store brand vinegar which is literally dirt cheap compared to some coffee maker manufactures who recommend their branded pricey descale solution. I purchased the Cuisinart filters (two pack) just once. I no longer use their pricey filters or a third party cheaper filter (lower quality?). I use filtered tap water for brewing. Yes, I agree filters may help. It’s just my personal choice. My only real complaint is cleaning the area under the “pod holder”. See photo number 3 with the holder removed. Over time some loose grounds will find it’s way to this hidden area. I can get just one finger into this area from the top. I used two methods to clean. (1) A wet paper towel wrapped around my finger. (2) Let completely dry and use a small brush to sweep the grounds out of the bottom hole (pod holder removed). I am dinging one star because of this design. ***** CONCLUSION ***** My personal requirement is a basic reliable coffee maker. I use the auto shut off feature, the brew size and hot water only feature. I don’t use the other features. I am not a picky coffee drinker. Overall this Cuisinart unit works for me.

   Approximately 12 years ago before the Christmas holidays, Keurig flooded the TV air waves with commercials for their new K cup pod coffee maker that quickly brewed one cup of coffee. I liked the concept but never heard of Keurig and had no idea who they were or if they were a legitimate company or merely a scam so I didn’t buy their coffee maker. On January 5, 2011 I was shopping in Costco and saw a Cuisinart K cup coffee maker. Having a Cuisinart food processor, can opener, toaster and conventional coffee maker I was familiar with the company and the fine quality of their products. It used the K pods that the other company’s coffee maker used. It was love at first site and I bought the Cuisinart SS780PC coffee maker for $164.99. I loved that coffee maker and used her to pleasure myself every day and some days two, three and more times a day. We’ll here it is 11+ years later and she started to wear out from old age. The pump was sluggish and would no longer pump out a full 12 ounce mug of coffee. I sip and savor every one of those perfectly brewed 12 ounces of coffee. So I felt let me buy the current Cuisinart replacement for the model SS780PC I presently had and I went directly to cuisinartoutlets.com and found the SS10 Cuisinart coffee maker and bought it immediately for $139.95. I was impressed with the voluminous number of 5 star reviews and I never pay any mind to an occasional 1 or 2 star review. Negative people write negative reviews and attempt to punish the manufacturer for mishaps caused by their own ignorance. Case in point splashing on the counter top. Possibly Sir Issac Newton could explain it better but if common sense prevailed there would be no splashing on the counter top. When a liquid drips from a higher point down to a standing liquid at a lower point the drops that are standing will splash up from being hit by the falling drops from above, especially if you use a shallow low sided tea cup. If a couple drops splash wipe it up with a paper towel, it’s not the fault of Cuisinart and it’s no big deal. Certainly not rocket science but basic rules of gravity. This new model does not have the blue light illuminatIng the water reservoir when water is low and has two heat settings HOT and VERY HOT rather than multiple degree settings. The engineers at Cuisinart realized these two features are not critical and designed a much better coffee maker for a $25 lower price eleven years after their original model was manufactured I loved my SS780PC but will have a torrid romance with this SS10. It is well designed and attractive, aesthetically adds to the beauty of my custom designed and handsomely decorated gourmet kitchen. I turn it on and immediately the open head icon illuminates, I put in a K pod and in less than one minute I’m sipping a 12 ounce mug of freshly brewed delicious and satisfying coffee. On top of that Cuisinart gives you a three year warranty. Talk about a manufacturer having faith in their product’s quality. I’m so glad I was skeptical years ago and never bought a Keurig. My old Cuisinart gave me 11 years of faithful service and I’m looking forward to a very long and enjoyable relationship with my new SS10. If you’re looking to buy a K pod single serve coffee brewer, don’t waste any more time looking. BUY this one it looks great, represents EXCELLENT VALUE, will brew you an EXCELLENT CUP OF COFFEE in a minute, is covered by Cuisinart’s 3 year warranty and cuisinartoutlets.com will deliver it to your front door.     After two failed Keurig K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee makers, we decided to pivot and search for another brand that can still use the k-cups. We settled on the Cuisinart Coffee Maker, Single serve 72 ounce Reservoir Coffee Machine. I am a big fan of Cuisinart products so we were confident of the purchase. Have used it now for a week, making 8-10 servings a day for the household. It has been a great purchase so far. We are experiencing none of the issues with the 1 star comments. It actually makes 12 ounces when you select that option. Coffee is piping hot. No lingering drips after cycle is done. Programmable power is very helpful for the mornings, knowing that it will turn itself on and off at the programmed setting. It is stylish and matches the overall color scheme of our kitchen. Only downside is the drip tray. Cuisinart claims that it can accommodate a 20oz traveler. We use Yeti and Orca tumblers for our coffee every morning so we needed to remove the drip tray. The remaining bottom frame of the tray has a hole in it, which will leak liquid onto the countertop if it drips when you remove your cup.
