   At first, the trigger to pull the spout open was difficult for my arthritic hands to work. After a couple days of use, it became easier, and i LOVE that I don’t have to hold the trigger constantly to keep the spout open…index fingers much happier. My last kettle was the same brand and similar model, only black (how boring!), and you had to constantly hold the trigger to pour. This one doesn’t leak at the spout when pouring, the other one did. The main negative is the whistle on this one is pretty quiet.

   I like the shape and the color. It looks pretty on my stove. The cap stays open by itself until you put it back down, so you don’t need to hold it open when pouring. This makes it less likely to burn me.

   I dont know why it’s suddenly so hard to find a kettle that you can simultaneously hold and flip a trigger on the handle to open, but it is. It heats quickly and evenly and it whistles. If you use a kettle daily, as we do, this is your jam.

   Love the red color, size and whistle – last kettle had an annoying, screeching whistle. Tea kettle is easy to keep clean & color doesn’t flake off like the last kettle – which was close to the same price. Interior does not rust. Lid places down nicely – no pounding it to go down = Happy Tea Drinking Family!
