   I wanted to keep this badly but it had a bug where the unit keeps blinking (heating) after finishing up w the steamer. To get it to work correctly, I had to unplug it then plug it back in. I am returning this unit in favor of another brand.

   **PSA: If your machine leaks is because you did not remove the very bright red seal that it points to be removed in several occasions with different instructions and eveb stickers,during setup** I did research for weeks which was hard because the machine was released recently. But I am very pleased with my purchase. Excellent quality and value for a *home* espresso machine. Espressos are flavorful and crema is great as long as you know how to dial your puck. Think a mix of Dedica arte and ECP 3630 but with a thermoblock. I haven’t seen any bottomless or naked portafilters yet for this machine, so I can’t speak about the quality with an unpressurized filter but overall is a well rounded machine.I recommend doing all your espressos and then steaming milk and do purge your wand before starting so you don’t get any extra water inside (people that complain about this, most high end machines recommend purging!) The panarello wand is not necessarily a flaw but if you want to do latte art. Probably better to detach the panarello, the wand gets milk too hot too fast and too much aeration comes in. (I don’t recommend as it could void your warranty, and you need to secure it to prevent injury. just stating it can be done for the curious) Also recommend doing several rinses to prime the machine. I have not experienced any plasticky flavor. Don’t expect la marzocco espresso quality, but closer to the bambino functionality and flavor, except for the panarello. Great value.

   For the $150 I paid for this unit, it delivers an excellent draw of expresso with a thick crema. The pressure gauge on the unit is a nice touch, assuring you are getting the required pressure. The milk frother works well and without fuss. The controls are simple and operating the machine is easy and intuitive. If you are fitting this unit in a tight space, be advised that the unit’s height is a bit taller than advertised, as shown in my photos, coming in at 12.25 inches; i.e., a quarter inch taller than stated in the description. As to build quality, it’s hard to say. It seems well built, but it’s all about the components, and for that, only time will tell. All I can say at this point is that the machine performs well, works and looks as advertised, and seems well built enough for the price paid. I’ll revise this review if build quality disappoints after some reasonable use.

   Love, love, love it!! The poor Keurig (pictured here, posing unwillingly next to the DeLonghi) has been neglected after two years of twice-daily use since the DeLonghi arrived! Easy to use, to keep clean, and looks SO BEAUTIFUL, too!

   Nice little machine. Good looking machine with rather cheap “foreign” parts… but makes a tasty shot of espresso! I can’t wait to have my family over and make them drinks! Especially my coffee loving nieces! I’ve been researching good beans and learning that the key to a great espresso is fresh roasted beans. Looks great on the counter and doesn’t take up much space!

   Waste of money and time
   Set the machine up for the first time. Ran through the set up procedures, water started leaking from panel gaps and below. Water was coming out from everywhere but where it was supposed to come out. Ordered a replacement but the same thing happened. Unless you want to waste time and effort returning these don’t even bother. There are better machines out there.

    We love our machine. It is very basic but you can’t beat this quality for the price. We switched our Nespresso out for this and haven’t looked back. Cheaper than pods too.
