   I use this thing all the time and it’s not even summer yet. I recommend it with Dr Pepper or lemonade in it so good to use. It works very well. It may take a while at first but once you get the hang of it, it’ll turn into slushy faster. You have to squeeze the cup over and over and over.

   It does what it suppose to but it doesn’t make an enough amount ( not even half a cup) and is very annoying and difficult to clean, is not worth the effort!
   I would say just go to the nearest gas station and get yourself a slushy!

   The cup can only fit 1/2 cup of liquid. You cannot put more because when you squeeze (which is how you operate it) liquid will come out. It only takes a couple of minutes to make the cold liquid into a slushie. It makes less than 1/2 a cup of slushie and it melts very quickly. In order to have a normal size slushie you would need to use this probably 4x, which I don’t think it would stay cold enough to even do. We were able to do it twice in a row. One other thing to note is the texture it makes. It is not crunchy like ice. We made a slushie with apple juice and the texture was like apple sauce. Very strange. Overall, this is way too much work for a little bit of (oddly textured) slushie.

   Half of this product is great and the other half is frustrating. To be fair, the part that works is the point on the item – to create an icee from any drink you pour into it. When the cup is frozen and you pour the liquid into it, it quickly turns into slush, even without squeezing it together hard. It is better if you do but if the cup is frozen enough it starts becoming an icee just being in there. The annoying bit is how the lid is. It’s in three pieces and they don’t seem to fit well. Once I took it off the first time it’s incredibly hard to try to put it back on. It’s like the three pieces no longer fit together correctly to the cup part. The picture shows two of the pieces and how they separate from the cup. The lid won’t even screw back on if all the pieces aren’t just right. It seems like it should be obvious but it isn’t user friendly. It could be I got a faulty one but it doesn’t look like it as far as I can tell. Also, to use the spoon on the straw you have to take the lid off. The spoon part doesn’t fit through the top of the lid, at least without the icee falling off. Which of course defeats the point on the spoon. I’m not the only person who tried to figure out the lid and why it wouldn’t go back on correctly. If you don’t want to or need to take it on the go it doesn’t matter if you have the lid, but it’ll spill out if the icee lid won’t go back on. I’m still giving it three stars because I cannot be sure the issues with the lid are normal or if it’s user error or only my item working incorrectly. It does provide an icee, although you’ll want to eat it quickly before the cup starts cooling down and the liquid melts. I’m returning this item and trying something else. If it’s a free return for you might be worth trying since it’s pretty cheap.

   The product is meant to be used after it is frozen at around -10 degree C. And household fridge does not do that, they merely work around 0 to -3 degree C.

   I purchased this for my grandchildren. One enjoyed it. The other one did not, but that’s not the product fault. In my opinion it was a bit expensive for what it is.

   Works as advertised, makes a slushie in a few seconds which is pretty cool. The kids love it. However, the plastic seal around the top broke off after a few uses and won’t go back on. Luckily it still works so it’s not a huge deal, but if I had gifted this to someone I’d be embarrassed that it broke so quickly.

    We love these cups! My daughter has a slushy at least once a day. They are easy to use and easy to clean. 4 stars only because they only last about 6-8 months. We’ve had issues with the “magic liquid” leaking into the inside of the cup, which unfortunately wasn’t visible – my daughter complained of a horribly salty taste – which turned out to be the “magic liquid”.

    I was so excited to give this to my wife! We were excited at first, but it just didn’t work how we hoped. It takes a long time because the cup has to be cold. The amount of drink you get out of it is small as well and then you have to start over. I think this would be fun for kids who are about 7-12. For whatever reason, I also feel like I never got it quite as clean as I wanted it. It’s a fun gift to give. Like I said, a kid would probably enjoy it more! The design is cool though.

    Its simple and works great! you freeze the cup…about 3 to 4 hours. Put whatever you want to eat like a slushy or depends on how long you massage it a snow cone. it freezes stuff frozen!! works really well. cleans easy…Just great! Kids love it!!! my son makes 2 or three a day! I own Several. CONS— Takes up room in the freezer. Specially if you have more than 2. and in order to make the drink fozen you have to massage the cup to move the fluid around to freeze. But that means you cant put to much fluid in the cup or it spills over the sides. but kids dont care..lol so you have to leave the lid on to put more fluid so it dont spill..not and issue…untill a kid loses the lid. then you have to fill it about half or just over half to prevent spilling while massaging the glass….Other than that..it actually is really fun and kids and some adults..think its magic lol if price is under about 6.99 a cup well worth the fun and the drinks are refreshing. If more than 6.99…i would pass. unless you rich..then you probably have someone making you drinks with a 1000 dollar snowcone machine…..but at 6.99 recommended! have fun!
