I purchased this blade in March 2014. I should have returned it. It does fit the Cuisinart DLC-4CHB mini prep BUT it does not fit it correctly. I attached some photos so you can see the difference. The blade does not sit far enough down into the bowl to chop all of whatever you are trying to chop, as you can see in the first photo. You'll have to open it up, stir and chop again. The original blade is on the left and the replacement on the right. You can see in the last photo how the inside is completely different. That is what doesn't allow it to sit on the bottom of the bowl. When I ordered last year the product was shipped from Small Appliances so perhaps another seller would be different. But I thought I'd show the issue I had.

I purchased this toaster to match my appliances. They style is perfect, however it's performance is horrendous. Note picture, does not toast both sides of bread evenly. I did it twice to be sure. How companies sell products this bad is amazing. I will never buy another Cuisinart product if this is their new quality. Sad!

Super cute. Works great!!! Buuut make sure you first pretend to heat up something like 2 times at least & have a window open and fans running and something to waft with because it has to rid the off gas which smells horrendous. It’s like anything new you want to let it offgas but this will throw you if you’re not ready for it.

Overall sturdy and functions adequately. We use this toaster over daily for toast, heating up chicken nuggets/fish sticks for the kiddos, and reheating leftovers. I occasionally use it to roast or broil vegetables, but since there are 5 in my family, it is usually only when I have a smaller portion of vegetables and don't want to heat up the oven. We have had this for over a year and so far no problems. I have seen others post about problems with the heating coils, but so far so good here. Pros - Heats up fast - Does what it says, I like products that do a few things but do them well. In my experience, products with lots of bells and whistles break easier. - Toasts evenly - Multiple shelf positions - Crumb tray slides out easily and cleans easily - It looks good on the counter, it does not take up too much space, and things can be set on top of it if needed. - It is a good price for a reliable product Cons - The food tray does not remove easily and when hot can be a burn hazard for fingers (or maybe just my fat fingers - The food tray does not clean easily. We have to keep it covered with aluminum foil that we change regularly. - No timer, not really a problem, we use the one on the microwave

UPDATE: Died after 1 year and 8 months. Touch controls were a pain. The sensor which detected the presence of the basket got fidgety. ORIGINAL: You buy a burr grinder for its ability to create a consistent, fine espresso grind. And that's precisely where this units falls down. The finest grind setting is not fine enough, and doesn't produce that lovely crema. And the grounds it produces are not a consistent size. In one go, you'll get both large and fine grounds, just like a cheap blade grinder. That's the bottom line for the 2-star review. Serious espresso lovers, go for a higher-quality unit. Other than that, the touch controls are cool, the grind options are well labeled and ease to set (physically twist the large hopper inside), and it is sleek but large. See the picture next to my Breville Bambino espresso machine for comparison. If you have space concerns, check the dimensions.

I've always had Cuisinart coffee makers with a glass carafe and was always pleased. This time I thought I'd try the thermal one. My issues with the carafe will especially bother older people who may not have the upper arm strength or arthritis: 1) there is no way too tell how much coffee is in the carafe. 2) The carafe is suprisingly heavy- even when empty- which makes it not easy to clean or carry or pour. It wouldn't work at all for my parents who are in their early 80s. The lid to the carafe requires you turn it to unlock and then when replacing it, same thing. This is a pain in the butt. Basically, I wouldn't buy this again. I'd go back to the glass carafe.

Obviously I love the colorful set but these are also my favorite knives that I have! They work great and I love that they all come with covers. I highly suggest getting them for yourself or for a gift!

Good nonstick finish, heavy enough. Cover does not fit well. Has small gaps.

These are some of the BEST ice trays I've ever owned and used. I'm an ice water addict and the trays I had before from the store were thin and cheap and flimsy. Not these at all. These are made very well and aren't cheap or flimsy at all. They make decent sized ice cubes and are super easy to crack out. I'm kind of an ice snob, don't really like the small marble sized ice, i prefer large cubes in my water, i feel like they last longer in my tumbler. These trays also stack great and they sit nice and flat. Even full they sit nicely on freezer shelf or in the door. They don't need lids if you don't overfill them. I've used them a few months now and absolutely love them. I have some other trays as backups just in case but these get filled and used first. May order a few more and keep in the garage fridge.

These are not top quality pans, but they should last if you take extra care of them. Do not use metal inside of them. Do not put them in the dishwasher. You will get a little more life out of them if you hand wash them and take care of them. They’re budget friendly and they don’t take up a lot of space. Heat transfer is not great, but that’s not what you would expect anyway out of inexpensive lightweight pans. You’ll need to assemble them, but it’s not bad. The utensils that come with them are serviceable and not bad either. I would certainly recommend these on a very tight budget and if you really take care of them. One of the pans had a slight imperfection on it. It still works.

I had been looking for a replacement for my old air fryer and this little baby caught my eye! What drew me in was the huge glass bowl that allows me to view my food while it’s cooking! I love the way it looks on my counter and my daughter loves to be able to see her chicken nuggets cook. This was a great buy for my family as we use the air fryer all the time! I made chicken wings for my first meal using this air fryer and babyyyyy! They were so crispy and crunchy! You would have thought the sound of the crunch was fake! I took the wings straight from the freezer and put them into the fryer with no thawing. They cooked for 25 minutes and I turned them over about halfway through the cooking time. Delicious! It comes with several attachments for different styles of cooking. A rotisserie stick for chicken or any time of meet that needs all over cooking and turning. It comes with a hook to grab the meat out once it’s finished cooking. It also comes with a detachable motor that turns the meat inside the air fryer. It’s is super easy to clean as it features a self cleaning option. You fill the bowl with soapy water and turn the air fryer on which allows the soapy water to heat up and easily remove any stuck on food. This makes for such an easy cleanup as my last air fryer was a pain to clean. I truly appreciate the glass bowl because it doesn’t feature any dangerous coatings that could release chemicals into my family’s food! This was a huge selling point when making my decision to purchase. I love how classy it looks in my kitchen. It’s not super loud. All air fryers make noise and it just becomes part of the kitchen clatter when making dinner. It doesn’t have a bad smell or anything like that. I literally just smell my food cooking. If you’re looking for a new air fryer like I was, you will absolutely love this one! I promise!

This carafe is excellent, except for one thing.... It has a design flaw and tends to dribble/spill when pouring, unless you pour it very slowly (even then it still might dribble). If your a little handy and don’t mind making a mod to the removable cover, it’s fixable. You have to cut/grind off some of the excess plastic where the coffee pours out so that the pouring hole is bigger. I took off as much plastic as I dared, and now I can pour it at whatever speed I feel like without it dribbling and spilling onto the floor or counter. It’s hard to get a good picture, but I took some pics (top side & bottom side) of the modified cover to try and show what the pour opening looks like after the mod.

I love them. Very durable. Looks very nice. Complete my kitchen

The gear in the power base is plastic and after using only a few times spun loose and shredded itself, rendering it and the food processor that came with it, useless. I had considered Cuisinart to be a quality brand, but no longer .

Fantastic kettle. Great design, a wide range of choice temperatures, stainless steel interior. I'll let the others speak for those. This is the best electric kettle on the market without exceptions. But you can make it better, and the next version of it could use a few changes: 1) Totally eliminate all plastic components that contact the water. The scale filter is removable. Thats in the product literature. But the scale filter bracket is plastic, and it still touches the water when you pour it. It also messes up the flow of the water. Fortunately, that can also be removed! There is a single screw that attaches it to the wall of the kettle with a hex nut. Unscrew it with a pair of pliers and it's done. Be sure to remove the hex nut and the two washers - you dont want to be swallowing those by accident. I've attached pictures of the removed bracket. In the future, this kettle would benefit greatly from a metal scale filter and bracket that can be totally removed. Fortunately, once you remove the scale filter bracket, it pours like a dream. The lexan water height meter leeches BPA. That is a damned shame about this kettle. And the water there gets HOT. This should be made out of glass, or simply removed totally. If you want to know how much water is in the kettle, you can open it! Look, I agree it's pretty, and it reflects blue light when theres water in there, but it's unhealthy. Health is more important than the little lexan window! And it's pretty enough already! Bottom line - remove the window completely. Put markers on the inside of the kettle indicating the volume if you must. This lexan meter is a real spoiler. Finally, the silicone nubs. I don't care if people think they are safe, get them out. You dont need a silicone nub to measure the temperature of the water, and you should take out the nubs related to the water level window. Fixed. 2) The kettle is a pain to carry for long distances. There is no handle to hold the weight of the kettle from the top. So if you have to walk with a full kettle for more than a few feet, it's rough on the wrist, because you're holding it from the side. And you can only hold it one handed. There should be a long rotating handle over the top that can fold down out of the way when not needed, but can be used to carry the kettle from above. Again, we can see the product designer getting in the way of a proper device. Sure, you want clean and modern. But a little old lady cant walk very far with these things, and a rigid swiveling handle that rotates down under the pour spout would also let someone hold the weight with one hand while pouring with the other. How is that little old lady going to have her tea parties now? 3) The stainless steel exterior is great, but (a) it's a fingerprint magnet, and (b) it gets too hot. For (a), the exterior should be clearcoated. We see lots of clearcoat stainless steel appliances today, and they are good with the fingerprints. not perfect, but good. Also, they feel much nicer than the metal. For (b) make the kettle's walls double layered stainless steel with air in between. This will allow it to retain heat longer. Also, it wont damage the clearcoat. The kettle is not too large, and it could reasonably be made slightly larger in order to permit a double layer. Also, you dont need the fill guage, so the double layered walls arent stopping anything. 4) The pour spout is FANTASTIC once you eliminate the scale filter. Do not mess with that!
