I am a fan of Oxo products as I have found that they usually work well and are well made. No exception for these covered ice cube trays. I really did not think that covered ice cube trays were very necessary to keep freezer smells out because I use ice daily, but thought what the heck! It did, surprisingly, take me a day to use them to max efficiency….ie best water level etc. The ice cubes slide out easily- which was my one big ‘want’ in an ice cube tray. The big surprise - which is of esthetic value only- is that the ice cubes are 80-90% more clear than that in my old, uncovered trays. Not crystal clear, but m u c h more clear. I like these ice trays very well and am glad that I chose them!

I like this oven, but it's got a couple minor design flaws. It's still worth 4 stars and I'd buy it again, but I wanted to share the necessary workarounds. The primary reason I selected this unit is there is a separate on/off button to eliminate toasting variability. My search for new oven revealed that nearly all toaster oven manufacturers forego the button and use a single knob to turn on the oven AND set its timer. Consistent toasting becomes the job of the user turning the knob to exact same spot each time. No thanks. Cuisinart solved that so you can set the darkness level once and leave it. You just turn it on, but... Design Flaw #1 - Because it takes 30 seconds for elements to turn red, the 1st 'toast' is barely warm when timer turns off. To solve that problem, I now preheat the toaster before adding bread. This way, I am toasting the entire time it's in oven and get consistent browning for several batches when feeding a crowd. See - minor. Next, the rack is manufactured to open with the door and to center bread vertically between heating elements. All good, but... Design Flaw # 2 - If you try to slide toast off the rack onto your plate, there's a 'curb' blocking its exit. You have to lift it. This is problematic particularly if toaster sits overhead, say, on top of refrigerator. To solve this problem, I flipped over the rack - see photo - now ends of rack wires are above the horizontal wire so I no longer have a 'curb'. Granted, this move toast off center and eliminates the door's connection with rack, but at least I get hot product onto my plate without burning my fingers.

My favorite pan! I use an glass top electric stove. The pan does not warp and distributes the heat evenly, I do not have to use a cooking spray to prevent food from sticking!

I bought this stainless steel set because I was tired of the worn out look of the non-stick cookware I've been using for almost nine years. I bought this set almost four months ago. I cook with them every day and they still look brand new. I was a little nervous about buying these due to the mixed reviews, but I did a little more research and I'm very happy I decided to buy them. Cooking with stainless steel is VERY different from using the non-stick aluminum pans I was used to. I cook almost everything at a lower temperature now since the pans heat up very quickly and they keep that heat longer. Everything cooks a little faster. There will be a bit of a learning curve that you should plan for if you've never cooked on stainless steel. Cleaning these is easy. I use Dawn and a Scotch Brite sponge. Anything that doesn't come off with hot soapy water requires a sprinkle of "Bar Keepers Friend" cleanser and a few extra seconds of scrubbing. None of that is meant to be an endorsement. It's just what I use. I'm sure there are many other excellent alternatives. The cooking "stains" that many of these reviews talk about come off in seconds and the pans are beautiful again. Yes, there will be some minor etching from using the abrasive cleaner, but it doesn't change anything about how these cook or make things stick to the pan. I actually prefer being able to scrub these clean and not have to worry about scratching off any coating and ruining the pans. I have two complaints. 1. The rivets where the handles attach to the pans have developed a slight screechy sound when that spot flexes. I'm guessing there's something small (maybe powdered cleanser?) that worked its way into the tiny gap. I'm not worried about it since these pans have a lifetime warranty, but it's just something I've noticed. 2. Water never quite reaches a rolling boil with nothing else in the pot. Water will boil and everything still cooks normally, but it just looks weird. I'll take some pictures soon and update this review. Edit: Pictures added for after cooking dinner (grilled cheese and tomato soup) and after clean up. TLDR: this is a great cookware set that's very nice to look at and feels like it will last forever.

Have had two of the smaller pans for at least 10 years and still using them. Finally, time to replace my old 12-inch skillet (not Hard-Anodized) and went with this one based on the durability of the smaller ones, and glass lid is a plus! Only concern is a noticeable ring in the center. Not sure if this is part of production since it arrived sealed and packaged. Almost looks like something was sitting on it and left a ring?? Still present after washing. Will see how it wears, not throwing out my old skillet yet. Not sure it will show in the picture.

  • For the most part...just the looks alone are nice and clean. It doesn't look like a spaceship on the counter. Nice simple straight lines and simple on / off / bake / broil / etc controllers. There were later design ovens from this manufacturer, but for the price, and all the Basic Features, I figured how can I go wrong? With 1800 watts for the total heating elements...right there that tells you that it is going to heat up fast...maintain quickly to attain the setpoint, and perform like a regular electric range / oven / broiler; but just in a smaller package. Toast making is complete on both sides. Fast! And with no drying out of the toast bread. I was looking for the ability to toast bread, without the bread sitting there in the oven just drying out on the inside of the bread; while the outside was browning. That is the problem with toasters that are Lower Wattage. It is a proven fact in the testing sequence of a toaster designed to do just that....make toast. The setpoint maintains just that, with not much droop in temperature. It is quick to respond to maintain the setpoint (temperature selected) to do a fast cooking chore. The crumb catch tray just slides out easily for cleaning which is a plus. My old toaster oven had to be turned on its side to flip open the crumb tray. Wow! Those crumbs really sat in there till they cooked themselves to the tray. With the slide out easy clean tray...I clean the crumbs every two or three times I use the oven / toaster! Smart Design! The only downside ...and it does not affect the useability of the oven; but it is annoying trying to see the settings plainly stamped in black lettering and numbering; but very very small. Just one step UP in the font SIZE would be a big improvement. I lost my 20 year old perfect vision some 40 or so years ago, and even with corrective lenses...I have to keep a little magnifying readers glass there just to see the settings of the controls. My 18 Y/O granddaughter who has perfect 20 /20 vision even has difficulty seeing the setpoints. All In All....I recommend it highly. The functions and power of this little machine are absolutely great. It is definetely not in the toy division like some other products of the like are in. I had to give this 4 stars**** only because of the inability to clearly see the setpoints on the controls that are printed so small. That's My Opinion Anyway! Oooops! one more important item, is the fact that there are multiple slots to position the shelves / rack etc for the different applications of cooking / heating / toasting etc."NICE"

I bought the extended warranty. Now I can't use the food processor for lack of one simple part - the removable blade that twirls and processes food. I could return the whole kit and kaboodle, but that would require a long drive transporting the entire assembly. So, now I have a small blender that is extremely sensitive to overheating. It takes forever to get the job done. My main complaint: I purchased a food processor that is now useless, and the warranty is not helpful. I need one piece, one small piece that cuisinartoutlets.com could send in a small box. That's all. I don't need a four-hour round trip carrying a bunch of parts so I can return them all to cuisinartoutlets.com. After reading the other one-star reviews, I see why the price keeps dropping on this product. In the photos, the green scale shows: the blender jar, assembled weighs 3.6 lbs. The glass itself weighs 3 lbs. The rest of the assembly weighs only 0.6 lbs. - because it's mostly cheap plastic. The motor, which cuts off randomly, weighs almost 3 lbs. The glass jar holds such a small volume, and it can't handle big jobs. Don't even think about using this for large meal preparation, unless you want to spend two days to blend five pounds of potatoes. Furthermore, do NOT make the mistake of buying a warranty, unless you want another one just like it. I would be ashamed to give it to charity, so it's gone.

Wanted to wait a bit to leave a review. I have used this coffee maker for 2 months everyday sometimes twice a day. I love the look of this cuisinart brewer very clean looking. It’s simple to use and the coffee is HOT which helps a lot with flavor. Our choice was this or a bunn. Went through reviews on both and chose this strictly on the appearance. That was the deciding factor plain and simple. Easy to use, program, clean. My huge dislike is they advertise as a 14 cup brewer. Ya the carafe holds 14 cups of coffee that is gonna be full of coffee grounds. If you put more than 10 cups worth in might as well start chewing. Big disappointment. I have a 14 cup brewer that can only brew 10 cups.

This cuisinart pro custom 11 is a 40 year old well used wedding present. Thanks again, Aunt Maude. I thought it was headed for the trash heap when my wife did who knows what with the original stem. This has brought it back to its terrifying glory. Get the kids out of the kitchen.

I don’t know what to say on steel pots and pans. This is the first one I’ve ever had rust on me. I’ve had this for only a month and I keep it clean and dry. I called Cuisinart and they do not cover rust. It cooks well and the heat distribution is fantastic. I like the tall format. A lot of 6 quart pots are wide. Clearly the stainless steel used on this pot is not as high quality as can be found elsewhere.

I purchased this can opener 6 Months ago. The magnet came out and now can opener does not work. I reached out to company and they are sending me a new part to replace the one that fell apart.

I am super pleased with this waffle making machine. I spent a lot of time looking at a variety of waffle makers. I wanted to get one for my husband as he sometimes wants waffles. I am not usually a fan of waffles, but I found that I do like Belgian style. So, when I began looking for a waffle maker for him, I made sure it could make the thicker Belgian style that I like. There are so many waffle makers out there and the reviews are all over the place. I went from thinking I could get something for less than $20 to taking a peek at the offerings in the hundreds. I looked so hard and so long that I was considering giving up. At some point in my mission, I found this Cuisinart waffle maker. I have always liked this brand, and I was kinda keen on the features such as: Removable plates Use beyond making waffles, additional plates (swap out two waffle plates for a flat and a flat/round for eggs, sausage patties, sandwiches) Belgian waffle style plates with deep crevices The product description video helped me to see how it works, which influenced my ultimate buying decision. Basically its a breakfast station! My primary interest was waffle making, so even the lure of added functionality didn't completely sell me at first. I continued to read all the reviews- again, all mixed like every other out there- and abandoned this for awhile to continue my search. I circled back around to this because, once again, I have been pleased with anything I have by Cuisinart. I liked the overall look of this, and that it appeared to be easy to store. I also decided I liked the additional plates, and I liked that there is no need to do any flipping or rotating of the machine. It cost more ($72) than I originally set out for, but everything about this unit- if it worked- seemed to be worth it. We love "breakfast" anytime, so i knew it would be used not only for waffles but for pancakes, eggs, and sausage patties. In addition, I started looking at recipes that go beyond breakfast foods that use a waffle maker, and this size and style seemed conducive to trying out all sorts of neat recipes. SOLD! Now, as to how it did. 1st-- how the waffles turn out is greatly determined by the cook. My husband makes perfect Belgium waffles each and every time. ME? they turn out.. ok. I am so glad I wasn't the only one to test this out, as I would have thought that the machine was at fault. NOPE- me. I swear I do all the things he does, but every single time his turn out better. EVEN SO, mine still look good. It has a few heat settings, just take a look at the manual for additional guidance. I don't think they take long to make. We made several in short time. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Waffles were evenly cooked, and always just turn out well. We use Krusteaz brand Belgian Waffle mix every time- not sure if that makes a difference or not. The plates pop out for easy washing, if need be (I usually just wipe with a damp cloth). I can store the unit in an upright position or resting flat. It doesn't take up much room in my cupboard, which is great. Compact- just a square. Nothing sticking out, making it weird. If you like appliances on your counter, this is pleasant to look at. Usually when we do waffles, we aren't doing pancakes. Usually when I do pancakes, I am used to using another style of pan, BUT, this is really nice as it heats up quickly, doesn't stick, and is just fun to use one unit. The round section is for batter, eggs, etc, then the top flat portion presses down. It is still being used primarily for waffles, but I am very pleased with this waffle maker. Especially when my husband makes waffles. The more we use the more I am pleased with this purchase. 5 stars at this time. If I learn anything new- good or bad- I will be back to update.

I like this machine because you can actually use the spin feature along with letting the coffee and water brew for as long as you like. You control when to release the coffee. I usually let it sit and brew for 24 hours using the spin feature several times. Great combo.

Dull slicing blade tore eggplant. I tried different thicknesses, but nothing worked. I even tried the egg plant in long strips, and it still tore. Returning.

It’s a great pan in general but the coating on the pan on the inside and outside easily scratches off after 1 use just from being in an oven, at least for me. The emblem even had a screw loose and off during the roasting and fell off. Unfortunately, I will be returning it.
