I have now tried several kinds of ice cube trays including silicon. The OXO was a last-ditch effort to find a system that would allow me to walk across the kitchen with a full tray of water and not spill it on the floor or all over the freezer when placing a tray inside. The OXO tray covers stabilize the tray, reduce sloshing and makes transporting it to the freezer enormously easier. The trays also have curved cube bottoms. If a section of ice does not quickly release, just touch the edge of a cube and the ice pops free. I store a supply of ice cubes in a large covered container. The ice does not degrade as quickly... holds its original size for quite a long time. The OXO units have saved me time and frustration. And reduced my use of colorful language.

This review is in no way about the story as I haven't even gotten the chance to read it yet. It is solely based on the binding of the book... I received the book today after ordering it yesterday. So shipping was excellent. The book itself is poorly bound. The glue of the spine is nonexistent at the top of the book so the pages are slightly separated from the cover of the book at the top. At the bottom of the book, pages weren't cut properly and were folded inward in what looked like a way to try and hide the error. That was a simple fix. I straightened them out and placed a heavy item on the book to ensure they were flat, and just cut them to match the rest of the pages... I have two other books in this order. One was in the same box and came with the bottom edges bent so I had to flatten those out. The next book arrives tomorrow and its the next book in this series. Hopefully it comes in better shape...

Cooking stuff in water. Easy pour lid and 3 qt size does everything I need it to do.

The reasons I gave this product four stars because of the fingerprints on the product, the box was open and loose. The instructions manual was outside of the box

Because the description said dishwasher safe but put a lid in the dishwasher and the rivets that hold the handle on are aluminum and they got discolored in the dishwasher. I’d also add that to bottom of every pan is mottled and discolored after using. I actually hate these pans! I’d return them except I got rid of my old set…

I use this mixer to make my buttercream for my cakes. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to constantly scrape the bowl because the beaters weren’t quite reaching the edge sides so I still have my KitchenAid beaters and bowl and they fit with this mixer so problem solved the second photo is my KitchenAid bowl and beaters hooked up to this new mixer

I purchased this item because of the versatility of the pour spout, the attractive look, the low(er) price point, and because I have had luck with Cuisinart cookware in the past. It does the job I need it to do (which is simply boiling water, not actually cooking), but within a few weeks of use the stainless interior was pitting and staining. I don't have hard water, it has been gently used, and I have never had this problem with my All-Clad stainless cookware. I decided to keep it because it does the job, but I will consider the quality the next time I need to make a similar purchase.

I am furious that this machine, a CUISINART, didn't even last 6 months. When brewing more fluid ended up in the capsule disposal compartment than IN the coffee cup. I called their customer service number and they gave me a run around and tried to get me to spend another $169 to buy a replacement. I will never buy another cuisinart again.

This is my second pot of this brand. I have loved both makers. They make great Coffee.  The first one just got old so I bought this one. Wow the improvements were awesome. I love the dial to set time and start time in the morning. It also now how a 4 hour shut off timer and can be extended.   My favorite feature is the levels of heat on the hot plate. I love very hot coffee and this pot provides that but gives the option for cooler. It is a little loud at the end of making but nothing bothersome.   I use a pitcher to fill the cavity with water because using the pot does make a mess sometimes. Overall it's a big improvement over my last pot. Here is why I gave only 4 stars.... when the carafe is full of coffee and you pour into your cup, make sure you have a towel to catch all the coffee that will spill. I have never had a carafe spill as bad as this one does. Tried pouring different ways but it still makes a mess. If this problem wasn't there I would say it's an amazing coffee maker.  Why did you pick this product vs others?: Brand name

I am happy i purchased this unit. There were no reviews but I took a chance because of mixed reviews with other similar units. It makes great coffee. I love the gold filter because of convenience and full coffee flavor but you can also use a paper filter if you want. The controls are so easy. I was able to set the time, timer, finish chime, hot plate temp, and hot plate timer all with the center knob without the instructions. The display is larger than other Cuisinart units and the blacklight is not too bright. You can adjust the hotplate from L, M, H to control how hot your coffee is when you pour out. There is also an ice coffee feature that shuts off the hotplate when you brew so you can add over ice or add ice to the carafe and brew into the ice. This is a full 14 cup unit but the carafe seems to be of normal size. One design issue which at first seemed annoying, is the lid to the carafe does not hinge open. It snaps in place and is solid. I thought at first this was going to be frustrating when filling the carafe with fresh water. All other units I have owned were hinged, but after 2 weeks, It doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. There is enough room at the spout to fill the carafe and just remove it to clean the carafe. The unit looks nice and the buttons are marked with their purpose. Also the front is not cluttered with controls. It is very simple and attractive. One nice feature I noticed is when you are in process of brewing, the brew light dims and brightens off and on slowly as a visual indication of brewing and completed status. Also the display shifts from current time to hotplate countdown and if you desire a little more time to keep the coffee hot there is a +30 button to add 30 minutes to the hotplate timer. I have settled in nicely with this unit and it has become a welcome addition to our home. UPDATE: 2 months later and I still like this machine. I have had no issues and I am happy with my purchase.

The cuisinart label that peels off the lid leaves a residue that turns dark with first use and does not wash off. The design of the lid makes it impossible to drain water off pasta or vegetables while in the pan. After one use cooking pasta, the pan is stained. I paid more to get cuisinart hoping for better quality. Very disappointed.

I’m a big Cuisinart Fan. We have Toaster Oven, Food Processor & Coffee Pot. Looking for Rice Cooker and liked Stainless Steel design. A few criticisms. No On/Off button. You have to plug & unplug it every time you use it. Video on cuisinartoutlets.com has women talking about turning it on. No you toggle from warm to cook. No off available. cuisinartoutlets.com has what I thought was a great price. But no. I expected this to have the cord retractable mechanism. Cuisinart thrifts out this mechanism and doesn’t tell you. See photo where it should be. I expect that at TJ Maxx. Not Cuisinart Store on cuisinartoutlets.com. It cooks rice as expected. Fast. Good. I think this is a $25 Rice Cooker with a $30 Cuisinart Name on it.

In spite of reading the measurements, this fire pit is bigger than I expected. That said, I really like it. It looks very nice and works very well. Burns very hot with minimal smoke. I might end up getting a second smaller one. Perfect for backyard bonfires though. Highly recommend.
