Pros: 1. Easy to get normal sized can set into position. 2. Once the cutting blade is in, it automatically grabs hold and cuts the whole lid off, it then automatically stops when done, holding the can in place until you gently pull it away. I cannot sing the praises of this feature enough, as it provides the least painful can opening experience I've ever had since developing arthritis and neuropathy in my hands. 3. Slim profile, sturdy base. This part I was concerned with, I wasn't sure about it being so slim that it would have enough of a base to be stable. So far I've had no problems with stability, and it's light weight makes it easy to move if needed. 4. Retractable cord. Well, this was an unexpected and welcome feature. Instead of having to worry about having too much extra cord laying around, the cord extends and retracts easily back into the unit so that you can have the perfect length of cord from unit to outlet. No having to use a twisty, or leave the cord just hanging around. 5. Arm comes off easily with minimal effort for cleaning. 6. Noise level is a little quieter than what I'm used to. That's nice. 7. It does the job so fast, I hardly have time to appreciate what little noise it makes. Cautions: 1. The blade is very sharp, so when cleaning it I wouldn't recommend getting fingers anywhere near the blade, I'd use a handled scrubber. It's early days and I've only had to rinse it off so far. 2. Be careful of the lid from the can. I'd recommend using a fork to get the lid off the magnet if you don't have fine motor skills, this is still a can opener cut and while it doesn't have what I would call jagged edges, it does have wavy edges that are sharp and the lid needs to be handled with care. I've never known an electric can opener where I didn't have to worry about this issue. Conclusion: It's the best electric can opener I've ever used. It attaches to the can easily, cuts quickly and quietly, takes up very little room on my counter. I don't dread having to open cans anymore, I'd even say I look forward to showing it off.

I had the same* model for 16 years. The motor gave out. So, I bought the current model. Some major disappointments. The plastic is thinner and of cheaper quality. They cut back on the number of processing blades. Missing french fries cutter and a couple of mixing, dough making blades. They cut back on some normal items you would normally get. Also! Be aware that your "old blades" will not work with the newer model (surprise). They changed the design of the motor shaft so you cannot use older blades. Reminds me of "Spaceballs 2"...the search for more money. Additional problem: There are warning labels on all attachments AND the top of the two bowl covers. The labels, on the plastic parts, do not come off. Tech support said "use solvents to remove the labels"? Solvents will melt the plastic. See attached photo. I suggest you buy another brand. Cuisinart is no where near the quality it once was.

INCREDIBLE pizza!! I purchased this on a whim for my husband's birthday and it did NOT disappoint! As long as you have a fantastic dough recipe using 00 Flour and semolina on the pizza peel and bottom of dough (so it does not stick to anything), you have the recipe for a genuine and quick woodfire pizza! I use my own recipes but the recipes included are not too bad. The bottom line, this pizza oven works and cooks beautifully. I bake my pizzas for about 5 minutes on the highest temp, then turn it and bake another 2 minutes. You will have to feel it out depending on how you enjoy your pizzas. KEY: must use semolina on the bottom of the dough and on the pizza peel so nothing sticks. DO not submerge your pizza stone but brush off to keep clean once cooled down. We could eat pizza all day. This machine is a ROCKSTAR!! Happy eats!!

This was obviously a return which I didn't realize until it was opened on Christmas Day as a gift. I should have opened it to inspect it when it was delivered a month ago. It was obvious someone returned it and didn't bother put tools back in their place, and as you can see from the photos the side left lock is broken off. It's now beyond the return window.

Product received was (very) used, and no effort was even made to try to clean it before re-shipping. Streaks and finger marks all over it, inside and out. Truly disgusting. On top of that, the lid doesn’t even fit on the pot, and no stainer came with it (which was pictured in ad).

In the words of my friend Lois "Smarter not harder." She couldn't believe I did not have an immersion hand blender. I mean she's tried to convince me for years that they are the best thing since sliced bread. I didn't want another appliance to try and store in my cupboard. She said they didn't take up much space. Well, let's just say now I'm asking myself why I waited so long! I blended it all in my crock pot! I'm not transferring hot liquid into my enormous standup blender, I'm not dirtying more dishes and containers, and my chicken chili is the perfect consistency. Needless to say the quality of this Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Soeed Hand Blender is amazing. Easy to clean. Fast and efficient. Directions are well written. Oh, I already cleared the cupboard space to store it, front and center! If you don't have one, go get it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I spent a couple of days reviewing other over the sink racks, and this one looked the sturdiest.  The only drawback was the lack of letters stamped on the different pieces, but it only took a second to figure it all out.  Once I started, it only took about 8 minutes to assemble, and it's actually very sturdy. Some other reviews mentioned that some of the baskets had an issue with sagging, but I'm yet to see this problem.  All the baskets are slightly canted backward, to allow for drainage.  It fit over my sink without any issues, and the suction cups grip my granite countertop perfectly. It'll take some getting used to having the baskets over the sink, but they're not really going to hinder anything. All in all, this is a great product for the price.  Highly recommended!!

I wanted to love these pans, but two saucepans have a dangerous defect where the rim gets narrow and sharp in just a section, which isn't super noticeable, and I got cut by one of the saucepans while washing it (in 35 years of cooking this has never happened). The other pans don't have this defect. CUISINART HAS BEEN TERRIBLE: I reached out to get the dangerous pans replaced. Over time they have sent 3 sets of forms requesting the same info + photos + they want me to return the pots for eval and then they will decide what to do. They also don't cover packaging for sending the pots, and it takes days for them to follow-up. Cuisinart earns a 1 for unhelpful, obstructive customer practices and those two pots get a 1 for being dangerous. The other pots and pans don't have sharp edges.

I use this mixer to make my buttercream for my cakes. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to constantly scrape the bowl because the beaters weren’t quite reaching the edge sides so I still have my KitchenAid beaters and bowl and they fit with this mixer so problem solved the second photo is my KitchenAid bowl and beaters hooked up to this new mixer

I like this set except for frying up hotdogs. I tried to clean the stain but don't want to scratch them by using an abrasive. I had it soak overnight and it still didn't come off. They are expensive pots to stain so badly. I might return if the others have problems too.

I'm in the process of replacing my pans with plastic and I have a wonderful old set of Reverware that they don't make anymore. But the handles are all plastic and while they will last a million years, I don't want any plastic in my kitchen. So I bought a set of stainless steel pans, but needed to supplement the smaller sizes, which I use more of. I bought one of the 1-quart and 1 of the 2-quart pans. This Cuisinart 2-quart pot is built to last. It's heavy, and will endure all my cooking nightmares. It's dishwasher safe, which is a must for me. It's 4 cups and has a very light measuring gauge inside which I can barely see, and am sure will rub off in time. The lid is not glass, but metal and is very sturdy as well. Completely happy with this purchase.

Purchase this board to make a folding shelf on the side of a kitchen island to support a coffee maker. Turned out great, folds down for travel, folds up and hold secure with the coffee maker and a couple of cups. I was able to mount it using brackets. I purchased on cuisinartoutlets.com that fold down. The brackets lock in place. I also was able to mount it right below the power receptacle that the coffee maker plugs into.
