I love my new Cuisinart pots and pans! They are of good quality and look great. I am also very satisfied with the way they perform. I have to remind family members to use lower temperatures, add a bit of oil, and wait a couple of minutes before adding the food.

Firstly, these are beautiful. I love their color, outside and inside the pans. I love their weight. They definitely feel like they’re going to last me a while. I also love the lid organizer and the bamboo tools. This is a cooking kit that would make any new, or already established chef, happy. But I think I have to mention that this Cuisinart Culinary Collection looks an awful lot like the Caraway Pots and Pans Collection. But if these were “Caraway,” they’d cost about a thousand dollars. So looks for looks, the Cuisinart Culinary Collection is a great bargain. I can’t compare the ceramic finishes between the pans, I can only comment on the ceramic finish of the Cuisinart pans. And I can say that after about a dozen uses of the skillet, the nonstick finish is starting to stick slightly. I’ve not put the pans in the dishwasher; and I’ve only washed them by hand. I haven’t used any abrasive cleaners either. So if you want a beautiful, matching set of pots and pans, this Cuisinart set is a pretty good deal. But if you’re looking to only have one or two pieces that are non-stick, and the rest to have some other finish, you may want to mix and match your pots and pans, as these may not be nonstick for life.

If a double sided waffle maker is on your ‘want list’ , this is the one you want. Quick, clean, no overflow gunk, crisp, golden brown…doing waffles now on Saturday mornings AND Sunday nights. Home Cook Hint: add some veg oil to the waffle mix, use carbonated water from your SodaStream.

The cookware set arrived last night and this morning I took out all the pans to wash before use. As I was washing them, I became aware that the handle on the 3 quart saute pan with helper handle had something rough on the underside. It seemed sharp enough to cut or scratch me. I turned the pan over and found a few spots that were rough and black, almost like old rust. I tried cleaning them off with a scrubby pad and a few of them smoothed out, but there are several places that are still rough to the touch and black. I called Cuisinart to see if I could get a new piece. (By the way, there's an hour and 10 minute hold the first time, so I had them call me back. I missed that call so called them back.) After another 20 minute wait, the customer service rep said I would have to contact cuisinartoutlets.com. Cuisinart won't do anything to make it right because it's a third party sale. The options at cuisinartoutlets.com are to return the entire set for a problem with one pan. I tried to fit everything back into the box to take it to UPS to return, but there's no way I can make all the pieces fit in the box, so I'm keeping the set, but I will never buy anything from Cuisnart again. Ever! Apparently their warranty is worthless.

In search of a new mixer that would handle bread dough, I read reviews, articles, and watched videos for weeks and hours. In the end I chose to compare the Instant (Instapot) mixer and this Cuisinart. Although I eventually chose the Cuisinart, here are the pros and cons of this mixer: PROS... 1. I love how the housing lifts. It has weight, and it doesn't kick up. It is nice and smooth. 2. A feature not all mixers have is for the beaters to be able to continue rotating while the housing is lifted so that extra batter can be released. This one has that ability! 3. The attachments connect smoothly and are ALL metal! 4. The dial for speed is easy to use and even has a helpful attachment and speed key near it. However, that should be imprinted, not a sticker. 5. I love the magnetic cover that easily hides the front opening for add-on attachments. CONS... 1. The motor size is only 500W, which is not typically good for heavy doughs. However, this Cuisinart is supposed to handle them, and it has a 3-year warranty, so I am hopeful the company knows the appliance. 2. The bowl size is only 5.5 qts, and bread mixing usually requires 6.5. Again, we'll see how well that works in the long run. I would have liked to see the bowl slightly offset on the stand so it is easier to add ingredients. 3. Finally I do not like this style of splatter guard. It is in two pieces and must be removed when changing out the beaters. I prefer the style that connects to the lifting head. Overall, I am happy with my choice, and I look forward to decades with this mixer.

Pay attention to the other reviews about the mold. My set got moldy (after about 3 weeks) after I put it under the barbeque for storage - a strange, orange and powdery mold with some webbing that looks like it's coming from the black lining. Going to try to salvage this (after spending $60 I feel that I need to try). cuisinartoutlets.com should stop selling this product until the mold is addressed - a safety issue I'm sure. I gave the item 3 stars because the tools themselves are nice, but probably could have gotten just as nice a set (and probably cheaper) without the storage case. Now off I go to contain the crazy orange mold and hoping I don't get sick from it.

  • This pot is perfect for fondue nights. It cooks food thoroughly. I love that you can adjust the oil temp easily. It functions perfectly. The food comes out tasting perfectly. It was easy to put together. The stainless steel is very sleek looking.

As you can see green one has been used. These work great and I throw them in the dishwasher to clean. Love the bright colors

While chopping minced garlic the top came off and I am unable to reattach. I liked it up to that point but not sure if I will be repurchasing. Frustrating.

Great cup of coffee every time but......after less than a year the carafe started holding water in its double wall design and leaking it onto the platform after washing. The platform is now a rusting wet mess. Also, not much after that the boiler well started to leak out the bottom of the unit. Seems like this will be a electrical shock hazard before long. Cuisinart has oversold its reputation with this cheaply designed and made unit. Don't be fold by the shiny stainless-steel exterior. It is cheap junk or should I say expensive junk because it cost $100. Something as straightforward as a coffee maker should not fail after only one year out of the box. I am buying a Braun!

I bought this after having been quite in love with the EM-100, the slightly less automated version of this model. My first latte with the EM-200 was a daunting chore at best, I read, re-read, and re-re-read the manual several times, obviously misinterpreting what it was trying to tell me before finally figuring out how to get it to steam milk. Though once you re-read it for about the seventh time, something clicks in your brain, and you finally get what they have been trying to tell you the whole time. Then it's great. I love these things. I've been using this EM-200 for a couple months, and the EM-100 (which I bout for work) or about 5. I love both. These are solid, well built, little machines that add no small amount of joy to my day. In case anyone else runs into the same issue as me... just brew the coffee (that part was obvious), then wait for it to heat up again and the brew lights go solid, THEN press the steam button, which will blink then go solid, then you can turn the knob and make wonderful frothing steam. If you try and hit the steam button too soon (before the brew light goes solid), it just blinks angrily for what seems like forever, taunting and judging you. That part was less pleasant, but me and my Cuisinart are getting along famously now. I also must say, I have not tried programming this one. The default 2 cup pour is much to my liking. I find it easier to just adjust my milk quantity to that. Besides, if I feel I'm not getting enough latte... I can just go make another cup, which is ultimately the whole point of buying one of these, right?

I am super pleased with this waffle making machine. I spent a lot of time looking at a variety of waffle makers. I wanted to get one for my husband as he sometimes wants waffles. I am not usually a fan of waffles, but I found that I do like Belgian style. So, when I began looking for a waffle maker for him, I made sure it could make the thicker Belgian style that I like. There are so many waffle makers out there and the reviews are all over the place. I went from thinking I could get something for less than $20 to taking a peek at the offerings in the hundreds. I looked so hard and so long that I was considering giving up. At some point in my mission, I found this Cuisinart waffle maker. I have always liked this brand, and I was kinda keen on the features such as: Removable plates Use beyond making waffles, additional plates (swap out two waffle plates for a flat and a flat/round for eggs, sausage patties, sandwiches) Belgian waffle style plates with deep crevices The product description video helped me to see how it works, which influenced my ultimate buying decision. Basically its a breakfast station! My primary interest was waffle making, so even the lure of added functionality didn't completely sell me at first. I continued to read all the reviews- again, all mixed like every other out there- and abandoned this for awhile to continue my search. I circled back around to this because, once again, I have been pleased with anything I have by Cuisinart. I liked the overall look of this, and that it appeared to be easy to store. I also decided I liked the additional plates, and I liked that there is no need to do any flipping or rotating of the machine. It cost more ($72) than I originally set out for, but everything about this unit- if it worked- seemed to be worth it. We love "breakfast" anytime, so i knew it would be used not only for waffles but for pancakes, eggs, and sausage patties. In addition, I started looking at recipes that go beyond breakfast foods that use a waffle maker, and this size and style seemed conducive to trying out all sorts of neat recipes. SOLD! Now, as to how it did. 1st-- how the waffles turn out is greatly determined by the cook. My husband makes perfect Belgium waffles each and every time. ME? they turn out.. ok. I am so glad I wasn't the only one to test this out, as I would have thought that the machine was at fault. NOPE- me. I swear I do all the things he does, but every single time his turn out better. EVEN SO, mine still look good. It has a few heat settings, just take a look at the manual for additional guidance. I don't think they take long to make. We made several in short time. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Waffles were evenly cooked, and always just turn out well. We use Krusteaz brand Belgian Waffle mix every time- not sure if that makes a difference or not. The plates pop out for easy washing, if need be (I usually just wipe with a damp cloth). I can store the unit in an upright position or resting flat. It doesn't take up much room in my cupboard, which is great. Compact- just a square. Nothing sticking out, making it weird. If you like appliances on your counter, this is pleasant to look at. Usually when we do waffles, we aren't doing pancakes. Usually when I do pancakes, I am used to using another style of pan, BUT, this is really nice as it heats up quickly, doesn't stick, and is just fun to use one unit. The round section is for batter, eggs, etc, then the top flat portion presses down. It is still being used primarily for waffles, but I am very pleased with this waffle maker. Especially when my husband makes waffles. The more we use the more I am pleased with this purchase. 5 stars at this time. If I learn anything new- good or bad- I will be back to update.

Simple little toaster is what was needed. It works great and has wide slots for bagels if that is your preference. I just use it for toast and I like to keep it on #2 for the perfect browning level that fits my need. Easy to wipe down and has removable crumb tray. I loved the look of this one even though it is a little larger than others on the market. I thought the price was a little higher than some of the cheaper models…..it’s a CUISINART and I expected to pay more and I’m happy with my choice and so glad it came in white.
