We love this coffee maker! I love the 2 extra cups it provides. I adore the color (copper). It matches my bronze/copper kitchen beautifully. Our favorite feature though is the carafe pour spout. No drips or spills!! The one we are replacing was very messy. All the great features will be explored in due time and I will update those later. As of now we are satisfied with our filtered, hot cups of coffee! The other thing I particularly like about it is that it’s hefty without being too large. Even the carafe handle is thick and solid. All in all I have no complaints and am very pleased with this purchase. I would definitely recommend.

Approximately 12 years ago before the Christmas holidays, Keurig flooded the TV air waves with commercials for their new K cup pod coffee maker that quickly brewed one cup of coffee. I liked the concept but never heard of Keurig and had no idea who they were or if they were a legitimate company or merely a scam so I didn’t buy their coffee maker. On January 5, 2011 I was shopping in Costco and saw a Cuisinart K cup coffee maker. Having a Cuisinart food processor, can opener, toaster and conventional coffee maker I was familiar with the company and the fine quality of their products. It used the K pods that the other company’s coffee maker used. It was love at first site and I bought the Cuisinart SS780PC coffee maker for $164.99. I loved that coffee maker and used her to pleasure myself every day and some days two, three and more times a day. We’ll here it is 11+ years later and she started to wear out from old age. The pump was sluggish and would no longer pump out a full 12 ounce mug of coffee. I sip and savor every one of those perfectly brewed 12 ounces of coffee. So I felt let me buy the current Cuisinart replacement for the model SS780PC I presently had and I went directly to cuisinartoutlets.com and found the SS10 Cuisinart coffee maker and bought it immediately for $139.95. I was impressed with the voluminous number of 5 star reviews and I never pay any mind to an occasional 1 or 2 star review. Negative people write negative reviews and attempt to punish the manufacturer for mishaps caused by their own ignorance. Case in point splashing on the counter top. Possibly Sir Issac Newton could explain it better but if common sense prevailed there would be no splashing on the counter top. When a liquid drips from a higher point down to a standing liquid at a lower point the drops that are standing will splash up from being hit by the falling drops from above, especially if you use a shallow low sided tea cup. If a couple drops splash wipe it up with a paper towel, it’s not the fault of Cuisinart and it’s no big deal. Certainly not rocket science but basic rules of gravity. This new model does not have the blue light illuminatIng the water reservoir when water is low and has two heat settings HOT and VERY HOT rather than multiple degree settings. The engineers at Cuisinart realized these two features are not critical and designed a much better coffee maker for a $25 lower price eleven years after their original model was manufactured I loved my SS780PC but will have a torrid romance with this SS10. It is well designed and attractive, aesthetically adds to the beauty of my custom designed and handsomely decorated gourmet kitchen. I turn it on and immediately the open head icon illuminates, I put in a K pod and in less than one minute I’m sipping a 12 ounce mug of freshly brewed delicious and satisfying coffee. On top of that Cuisinart gives you a three year warranty. Talk about a manufacturer having faith in their product’s quality. I’m so glad I was skeptical years ago and never bought a Keurig. My old Cuisinart gave me 11 years of faithful service and I’m looking forward to a very long and enjoyable relationship with my new SS10. If you’re looking to buy a K pod single serve coffee brewer, don’t waste any more time looking. BUY this one it looks great, represents EXCELLENT VALUE, will brew you an EXCELLENT CUP OF COFFEE in a minute, is covered by Cuisinart’s 3 year warranty and cuisinartoutlets.com will deliver it to your front door. GREAT PRICE, GREAT VALUE, GREAT SERVICE who could ask for more.

After two failed Keurig K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee makers, we decided to pivot and search for another brand that can still use the k-cups. We settled on the Cuisinart Coffee Maker, Single serve 72 ounce Reservoir Coffee Machine. I am a big fan of Cuisinart products so we were confident of the purchase. Have used it now for a week, making 8-10 servings a day for the household. It has been a great purchase so far. We are experiencing none of the issues with the 1 star comments. It actually makes 12 ounces when you select that option. Coffee is piping hot. No lingering drips after cycle is done. Programmable power is very helpful for the mornings, knowing that it will turn itself on and off at the programmed setting. It is stylish and matches the overall color scheme of our kitchen. Only downside is the drip tray. Cuisinart claims that it can accommodate a 20oz traveler. We use Yeti and Orca tumblers for our coffee every morning so we needed to remove the drip tray. The remaining bottom frame of the tray has a hole in it, which will leak liquid onto the countertop if it drips when you remove your cup.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She loves the clean design, the small size, and it functions flawlessly. It is definitely worth the money. I’m very happy.

I bought the extended warranty. Now I can't use the food processor for lack of one simple part - the removable blade that twirls and processes food. I could return the whole kit and kaboodle, but that would require a long drive transporting the entire assembly. So, now I have a small blender that is extremely sensitive to overheating. It takes forever to get the job done. My main complaint: I purchased a food processor that is now useless, and the warranty is not helpful. I need one piece, one small piece that cuisinartoutlets.com could send in a small box. That's all. I don't need a four-hour round trip carrying a bunch of parts so I can return them all to cuisinartoutlets.com. After reading the other one-star reviews, I see why the price keeps dropping on this product. In the photos, the green scale shows: the blender jar, assembled weighs 3.6 lbs. The glass itself weighs 3 lbs. The rest of the assembly weighs only 0.6 lbs. - because it's mostly cheap plastic. The motor, which cuts off randomly, weighs almost 3 lbs. The glass jar holds such a small volume, and it can't handle big jobs. Don't even think about using this for large meal preparation, unless you want to spend two days to blend five pounds of potatoes. Furthermore, do NOT make the mistake of buying a warranty, unless you want another one just like it. I would be ashamed to give it to charity, so it's gone.

Fritaire read my review, and immediately contacted me to offer a refund. As a result of this, I upgraded my original two star review to four stars. I am looking forward to future products from this firm. ================== I really liked this product, but it has a significant weakness. Good points: very easy to clean, cooks quickly and evenly, nice to be able to see your food cooking from any angle, is a very attractive countertop appliance. Bad point: The rotisserie spit and basket, which are two of my favorite features, are powered by batteries. This isn’t very convenient, but I was willing to live with this drawback. Unfortunately, the mechanism which locks the rotisserie motor to the glass cooking chamber depends on very fragile plastic tabs (see pictures). The motor is difficult to seat, and by the second time I used this product most of the locking tabs broke off. I suspect that the high heat of the glass housing compromised the plastic, causing it to fail so easily. I wish this wasn’t the case, I was really enjoying this product; sadly, I had to return it…

I needed to upgrade my kitchen knives, and I am so glad I found these. I bought these about 11 months ago and they still look and feel like new, still very sharp. Each knife has a sturdy protective cover which is great for protecting your hands when rummaging around in your kitchen drawers. Knives are strong and do not bend when cutting through hard items like watermelon or winter squash. I would certainly buy again.

As a replacememt to their other burr grinder, its a good upgrade. It quieter, and seems to be better to operate, however there doesn't seem to be a memory function to return to your previous grind level upon next use and there is a bit of a static issue, with dust and grounds sticking to the grind chamber as you use it. Purchased from Costco.

As described! Cooked with it for the first time and the fish was perfectly fried! Thank you!

The plastic pieces are light weighted, feels very cheap. All the metal pieces and blades all came in rusted. Gross..

This is a fairly compact machine with a footprint equal to or smaller than most standard coffee makers. I like integrated grinder, water container, one-cup service and quick brew, as well as the option to use the insert for a pod (even if I never use it). Unlike some reviews, so far I have not had grinding spillage around the base of the grinder. I like that I have water and beans ready to go each morning. Just grind, install grinding cup, brew. Overall, this is a neat little machine, which I enjoy using. I used a grinder and 12-cup coffee maker for years, then stopped when I didn't want to grind and brew for just one or two cups - plus they both took up much-needed counter space. Following are some points to consider before purchasing. These are why this is a 4-star and not a 5-star review. See photos, too. Point 1: I discovered that my 12 oz mug will overflow if I use the 12 oz cup setting to brew (had to stop the brew cycle), so I use the 10 oz setting to fill this mug. This was a surprise, since the first-use cleaning only shot out 8 oz of water (running water only without grounds through at 10 oz setting per instructions). This is not necessarily a negative - I just had to adjust my thinking/choice depending on the mug I use. Point 2: Grind is not controllable - no variety of settings. Sadly, I don't find the coffee strong or flavorful enough, I assume this is due to the default grinding amount and grit. I have to add a bit of instant coffee (!) to strengthen it. I assume that a stronger coffee bean/darker roast will make a stronger cup, but will have to wait until I've used up the beans I have before testing this. I don't use pods (expensive and strength can't be determined with them). I prefer fresh ground coffee (and even like Taster's Choice instant). Point 3: Grounds cup storage. The cup into which the beans are ground fits nicely into the convenient side storage; HOWEVER, the optional pod insert is too large to store in the same place - the little door won't shut. Since I don't use that pod insert and only use the grinding cup insert, I want to store the pod neatly. This storage should have been sized appropriately to accommodate either. I keep the cleaned grinder cup stored under the grinder. Fortunately, I use an appliance cover, so it will keep out any dust. I will update this review once I've tried other beans, or if anything changes in the future.

This is exactly what we needed for our family!! Fast enough for school mornings. Perfect shape, not too big or small. Awesome how they can be broken into quarters or halves. Makes 2 at a time. Recommend!!! Made all these on a busy school morning no problem.
