I use this mixer to make my buttercream for my cakes. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to constantly scrape the bowl because the beaters weren’t quite reaching the edge sides so I still have my KitchenAid beaters and bowl and they fit with this mixer so problem solved the second photo is my KitchenAid bowl and beaters hooked up to this new mixer

I am keeping it its perfect for what I want. It is quiet and great for the beer and soda. The freezer is working great as well.

All I ask of a toaster is this: lower my bread into the slot, heat it until it's the golden color I chose, then send it back up. Don't make me pop it up and down multiple times to see if it's burning, or not cooking, don't make me flip it around to toast the other side. And could you please do the same thing the next day? This toaster actually does its job. It's FABULOUS. 2 people in the house. Both like a different shade of toast. We don't use big or fat bread - just basic, artisan sized grain bread. This toaster has some perfect features to accommodate for most anything - my favorites: 1. Memory feature: his and hers for us. 2. Quick View button: is my toast burning or not cooking? One touch of the button for a peek without resetting the timer. 3. +30 second button: okay, wish my toast was a tiny bit browner, but I don't want to burn it - this is your go-to feature. On top of that, mechanical lower and raising of the bread - quiet and zen-like - not a fan of slamming the levers. And did I say it actually toasts my bread on both sides!!! Thank you. (My toast is more golden that it looks in the photo's - it's a tan/brown color bread). Let me also say this: it's a crapshoot whether the heating coil cards on any toaster come out of the factory working like they should. They all use the same parts made at the same place using the same lower quality components than what we had in our life before. If you can find a toaster that does its job, looks like you want and fits your budget - it's a good thing. No, it's doesn't make the buzzing sound some mentioned in reviews. If you use super thick, super long bread, this isn't for you - find a toaster that's made for that. (Don't try jamming oversized bread in - yes, you will ruin the mechanical raise/lower feature). The cord length is just right. If you're toasting 1 slice - use the 1 Slice button - it's made to adjust the heat for just one slice (doesn't matter which side). It actually comes with a paper instruction guide - read it. This was our third and final attempt at finding a replacement toaster. For us it's perfect. PS - all of my family and friends that have a Duolit happen to have them all on the blink right now :-) Even the "premier" of toasters fail.

This pan is too lightweight - when I put it on my gas burner, unfilled, it tips over (from the weight of the handle). You have to find the "sweet spot" on the burner to balance it to start. Next I tried cooking my morning oatmeal in it. My previous Caphalon pan - the oatmeal instructions worked just fine. Apparently I'm now going to have to add more water to keep this from sticking (yes, sticking) and so it can actually cook the oatmeal into oat-meal. Pretty disappointed in this pan - should've stuck with Caphalon UPDATE: Here's what this saucepan looks like a mere month into using it

This is a very sturdy set. You get everything you need for the grill. Included in this set is a thermometer fork which is perfect for checking the internal temperature of your meat. I really love using this set. It also comes in a nice sturdy strong case, which makes it even better to keep all your grilling utensils together. It's easy to clean. I will definitely buy this again as a gift. Once you buy this set you won't have to buy another one for a long time. This set will definitely last a long time.

This has to be the most worthless coffee machine I’ve owned. It hasn’t made a decent pot of coffee to date. If you don’t set it to put enough grounds, the coffee comes out weak. If you put enough, the basket overflows onto the counter and grounds end up in the pot (see photos). The design of placement of the water reservoir is in such a location that you have to physically turn the machine sideways to access it (see photo). If you don’t the water will spill out of the back overflow holes. Also the fill gauge is on the side so you can only view it when the machine is sideways or you won’t know how many cups of water are in it. The coffee doesn’t come out any better unless you make half a pot at a time. Don’t waste your money. Buy a coffee grinder separately and a different decent brewer and you won’t be as disappointed as this unit.

I was excited to use my new pan but when I was washing it before the first use per instructions I noticed some damage to the bottom of the pan. Very disappointing because this pan was marketed as new. Yet you can tell this item was opened and repackaged before being sent to me. Seems like it was purchased and returned then sent to me.

I use this sieve mostly to rub ground herbs through. I grind dried herbs with a mortar and pestle, which pulverizes the leaves but not the stems, then rub the mixture through the sieve. But pieces of dried herb get wedged up between the mesh and the rim, and the mesh has to be flexed to get them out. So after a month or two, this breaks the solder holding the mesh to the rim. There are only a few spots of solder around the rim to hold the mesh in place. After about my 3rd sieve broke, I bought some good metal glue and did what the manufacturer should have done in the first place: using a new sieve, I glued the mesh to the rim, all the way around. The pictures show my glue job. So, stuff won't get wedged between the mesh and the rim. And the mesh won't detach either. So far, it's working great. The sieve has a much more solid feel now. It doesn't flex when I rub herbs into it. It's difficult to clean though, because little pieces of herbs get trapped in the fine mesh, and they're hard to get out.

My old 18 year old Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler is still working, but the fan was making a noise, so I bought this Cuisinart TOB-135N to replace it. It is VERY quiet, much quieter than the older model. About 60 dBA. You can hear a click every time the heater relay turns on/off. It pulls 15.6 amps at full power: 1872 watts, so make sure it is on at least 20 amp breaker/fuse. Actual usable inside dimensions: width = 11.75 inches depth = 10.5 inches height = 5 inches The actual exterior dimensions of the metal box: width = 16.5 inches depth = 12 inches height = 9 inches Overall full exterior dimensions to handles and rear cord holder: width = 18.25 inches depth = 15.75 inches height = 10 inches There is a noticeable (bake in) odor the first time it is used. I do not like the single dial, every time I use it I have to guess what to turn and what to push. It is NOT intuitive; it is simply the cheapest they can make it. I place a 1/4 inch thick aluminum plate in the tray as a thermal mass and heat distributor, because those red hot tubes (at least 1800 F) provide completely uneven heating. The exterior gets very hot, the top was 125F when set to convection bake at 325F, and the glass door was 245F. The handle was only 88F. When the time is up the oven beeps several times and turns itself off.

Found a glass shard in the coffee pot and couldn’t figure it out until I realized the glass ring in the lid was decomposing and breaking apart into the coffee pot. Scary design flaw. We had only used this item half a dozen times.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Reviews were positive, and although pricier than others in the segment, we were excited for our new fridge at our tiki bar only to unbox and see the protective laminate peeling and scratched/marked-up everywhere. Add to that a massive 3”-4” long and 1” deep dent on the lower left back, and you could say we’re anything but thrilled. Shipping box didn’t appear to be damaged, so there’s no way to be certain how or why it arrived in its current condition. All we know is we paid for and expected “new”, not “scratch and dent”.

  • Me agrada el diseño y el vaso (definitivamente apuesto a los vasos de vidrio) pero… cuando Licuas quedan grumos y no entiendo porq por eso no se lleva las 5 estrellas…

Even though both the description and the Rufus AI say that this set is Induction compatible, they are not. Returning immediately. See attached picture that lists what the manufacturer says is is compatible with.
