This replacement drips and spills coffee from the middle opening — the original carafe did not do that. I’m considering the idea that this is not legitimate Cuisinart.

Love this AF- specifically model Toa-65. I researched for a super long time before purchasing my 1st AF. I’m going to start with cons first because that’s probably what you’re after. Do note, however, that the pros outweigh the cons :) Cons: - Could be bigger or have more racks. However, I do understand that even if it had more racks they wouldn’t all be able to airfry very well at once because in order to achieve the “fry”, the food needs to be very close to heating elements AND the main convection fan- which can really only happen on 1 shelf at a time. This is obviously why many airfryers only have 1 shelf or 1 basket. - It would be nice if the basket & tray could be bigger, but if they did that, the unit would be huge and it’s already big. Overall, this isn’t an issue and it holds more than I expected it to, as you can see from my photos. The roasted chicken was a fresh 2 pack of whole chickens from Costco, to give you an idea of bird size. - Cleaning. Overall, it’s not a big deal. Air fryers are going to be dirty and I accepted that immediately. I don’t fret over keeping it sparkling. You should know that you’ll need to unplug it and clean it once in a while. Bacon grease especially, gets stuck to the fan & ceiling, & over time it smells when it’s being used as a result. So unplug it, tip it & clean it once in a while. This is a bit of a job. - The knob and dial were not intuitive & threw me for a loop for about a day. Once I realized that 95% of the time, I just spin the wheel, push it, spin, push it, push it (push = select/enter) & hit “Start”, I was good to go. I almost always set the time & temp this way- by only using the knob and entering it manually. The pre set buttons are nice and we do use the “Air Fry” button, but generally just the wheel. You very quickly learn that most cooking is done at either 350 or 375 & for only a few minutes. Pros: - Stainless Steel!!! 👏🏻 I don’t want plastic or teflon in my food! This was super important to me because air fryers are HOT and no one needs more chemical carcinogenic junk in their food or air!! - fast. easy to use. After a day or 2 of getting used to it, it’s SO FAST to use. It’s made my cooking time in the kitchen LESS, easier, cooler, & simpler. Less work. Less clean up. No hot oven heating up the house!! - it’s plenty big and I’m super glad I didn’t buy a smaller one. I cook a lot and I almost always cook for leftovers. - Paleo/AIP/Whole30 Dream machine! - Cooks really well. You can bake, hard boil eggs, air fry, roast, dehydrate, proof bread, reheat, toast, bagels, brown, broil, pizza, warm & set a dual-cook. It’s an all-in-one! I’ve even made a poached egg in a ramekin!! (just for fun) - Doesn’t smoke. I am always reading about other AF’s (other brands, shapes, styles) smoking. I have not experienced that at all with this model. - Cooks hot & fast. This is a pro, but at first feels like a con because you have to WATCH CAREFULLY!! - This machine cooks hotter than expected. Turn it down 25° less than you want to, or less than a recipe calls for!! Most of the time I cook at 350-375. Rarely 400 and when that temp is used, it’s BRIEF- just to “finish” or “crunch”, or brown something. Most of the time 375 AF is sufficient. - I’ve heard customer service is excellent, which was also a selling point for me. I haven’t had to use it. - Join the Cuisinart TOA-65 Facebook group once you purchase it! Newbie Tip! * Start at 350 Air Fry. Set the timer for 3 minutes at a time. Turn on the light and check your food. Repeat until it’s desired doneness. Seems silly but this is how you will learn and you’ll catch on fast! If you want it more fried, turn the temp up to 375, 2 minutes. Watch. Repeat. Need more? Try 400, 2-3 minutes. * Buy a few cans of spray/spritz avocado oil. Costco now has a 2 pack, cuisinartoutlets.com has plenty, and all the health stores. I wouldn’t personally use coconut oil, I think it will be too heavy and smoky. Olive oil works, but isn’t great for you at high temps & doesn't brown as well as avocado. * Do NOT just toss some food in there and turn it to 375 or 400, 10 minutes your first time or IT WILL BURN and you will be disappointed. Invest the time to babysit it and get a good feel for the temps & settings. * Toast- We like our Canyon GF toast on “Toast- Shade 7- 1-2 slices”. You can also air fry toast! Put butter on it first- yum! * Fresh cut french fries- best if you soak them in salt water ahead of time, strain, rinse, and dry well. THEN toss in a bowl w/ spritz’s of avocado oil & seasonings. Wet fresh sliced potatoes don’t make good french fries, regardless of what appliance you use. - Make some sweet potato hashbrowns and thank me later! Overall, LOVE IT. It’s a bit more expensive but totally worth it!!

Glass carafes lifetime was too short 9-24 months. Bought 10 cup metal version - Works perfectly instead of glass for 14 cup model CBC-7000PC D/C 2320. As others noted the 10 cup metal version is actually bigger because it’s a thermos but still fits

So disappointed. I purchased this willing to spend a little extra for a brand usually known for it’s quality. I’ve had a little more than 6 months and after the 4th time it warped pretty bad. The reflection in the pictures makes it hard to see how bad it really is. Yes there is a lifetime warranty but you have to pay $10 for shipping and handling for replacement. If I would have to do this after every 4th use what is the point. This is the 2nd disappointing item of cuisanart that I have gotten now. Just like another reviewer said, I should have just gotten a cheap one from a Walmart. I wanted an investment piece not a throw away pan. Cuisanart does not mean what it used to.

This Cuisinart coffee maker does a great job at making small batches of drip coffee. Small meaning 1-4 mugs/cups of coffee. I also liked the LED that illuminates when your brew if fully heated up. No lukewarm coffee. What I didn’t like about this maker is how many loose parts there are to assemble and keep track of. Our old drip coffee machine had just 3 parts…..The carafe, the carafe lid, and the filter basket. This Cuisinart machine has about 10 pieces to the puzzle. Some are options like the screen vs. filter option. And a charcoal water filter (purchased separately). But even the filter basket is 3 parts and the water reservoir is another 3 parts that have to be assembled. So it adds to the cleaning of the machine after use. The coffee was good but the cleaning and storage not so much. I give this machine a “C+” grade.

This worked so much better then a cupcake pan

Woo is a Shotty company watch out. Looks like crap in our kitchen. Hope it breaks under warranty so they can have it back! Total mistake to buy!

The lock feature is a simple design with a plastic twist knob, but it works to keep the cover closed. A nice little unit to keep the dust off and have all the attachments in one handy place.

We’ve had this grill just over one year and only use on short camping trips. Today while using, the plastic button that locks the lid, melted off. On the back by the heat shield, another plastic piece melted off as well. I’d think a name like Cuisinart would make higher quality items.

We don't have a lot of cabinet space and this helped free some up. It's sturdy and I love the look of it.

The knives themselves seem nice, although I didn’t bother to try them because the knife block is defective. The acrylic pieces on the sides are bowed in so tightly that in order to use it, the knives have to be pushed in with a lot of force. I wasn’t sure at first if it was supposed to be like that, so I took out the smallest knife and tried to insert it in the block. It took a lot of effort to get it in halfway and scratched up the acrylic piece, so I assume it’s not supposed to work like that. Also, it says the middle block is magnetic but I see no attraction at all when I put the knife up to it. I am returning it and I won’t take a chance on ordering another one.

DO NOT BUY

This has been a WONDERFUL addition to my kitchen! Want a cup of soup from a soup mix? Use the instant hot water dispenser. (Which also steams milk, etc. with a turn of the button.) Want a quick cup of pick-me-up espresso? Use the single serve function and your choice of Nespresso originals. Want to brew a cup of tea with those tasty loose teas in your cupboard that you never brew because you don't want to have to clean the tea strainer? Use a Fanativita Disposable Coffee Filter for K-Carafe with a Cuisinart SS-RFC HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup and all you'll do is pull the biodegradable/compostable paper filter out and toss it or recycle. I highly recommend this Barista system and also the two other products I mention above. They will add pleasure and convenience to your daily routine. By the way, my husband just loves that he can have hot cocoa any morning he wants it....even if we're out of milk. :) (I also got the delicious Starbucks hot cocoa K-Cup Pods.) Little treats to share and enjoy can make your day!

I had a stainless steel medium pot and really liked it. I have a smooth glass top electric stove so I decided to get the whole set. They are easy to clean. They heat quickly and evenly. I could put them in the dishwasher, but choose not to in order to keep them shiny. I wouldn't use stainless steel with gas burners.

My favorite part of this blender is the size, not too small, and not too large. The motor is so much more powerful than similar basic blenders and the 36-ounce capacity is a perfect size if you are making one drink or multiple. This is not a do-it-all type of blender as it only has one speed, but 90% of what I do in a blender only needs one speed. The blades are sharp to cut through frozen fruit and also perfect for a blender hollandaise. It is lightweight and easy to store in our cabinets.
